I put the chicken in these bags when I’m making chicken soup so that the chicken doesn’t fall apart in the broth. You can also put herbs or veggies in it.

I could never convince myself to cook a bone soup with veggies some you eat and some that you only use for the flavor and then you would toss it after the soup cooked. And you would have to separate everything and strain the soup and strain again. Too much work for a working girl. But I wanted the soup, it’s so good for us with all that collagen in it. These bags are seriously a time saver. They are large enough, they didn’t rip from the bones. It was so easy to load the bags, tie a knot, put them in the pot, cook, removed the bags with silicon pinchers since they were hot. Cut the bags open and done. I only had to use the strainer a little bit kinder fished out the smaller bones and some foam. But no churning and pouring. Now I can’t stop making this soup. 1 pack has 8 boil bags. Good quality!! I bought this because my son doesn’t like onion floating around his black beans. I used it and their was no extra flavor or any onions. 10/10 will buy again.

This bags are well worth the money. When I cook chicken soup, I put the soup greens in the bags, and the chicken parts in other bags and then at the end, it is so easy to take out cool and dice up the chicken and veggies. It saves so much work.

These bags are great, when making soups with many vegies, that you must throw out at the end. Place those vegetables that you will not need at the end of boiling into the bag, place them into your soup water, let them cooks along with your soup stuff, at the end remove the bag and dump it out , no more fishing for pieces to throw out. GREAT

Great price but the bags are smaller than other brands I've tried and not as fine of a mesh.
