Planted strawberries and grew very nice. Watering was easy and quick. I didn’t have issues with slugs or weeds, although the Robbin’s and chipmunks thought that I planted them especially for them. I really didn’t mind them, I had plenty to share.

I want to actually eat my strawberries so I bought this system to keep the pests out. I planted Day Neutral Seascape bareroot strawberries on 4/7, fertilized on May 1, and they are blooming on 5/18 in USDA Zone 6B. I made the cover out of a wide, very sheer curtain panel to keep the squirrels and raccoons from eating the crop as it ripens. Easy to water, although I would not depend on water from the top two tiers to reach the bottom easily. We placed a drip emitter on top and it needs to run about an hour to reach the bottom. I built a little stand on wheels so I could rotate it easily to keep the sun evenly on it. I think it is a good investment for strawberry growing. Update: eating strawberries on June 15, 9 weeks after planting, so good.

This is a bit large and exactly what I wanted. Easy to put together in 10 minutes or less. It holds a fair amount of soil. Suggestion to order a rotating tray to catch draining water (not included).

These are really nice. They have a large capacity & are very sturdy. Once I bought the first one, I realized I wanted another. Most my layers are planted with strawberries. I have planted 2 levels with kale & spinach which I am holding in the greenhouse till spring. Layers fit well together & are easy to unstack if you want to plant something new.

Impressively sturdy plastic - holds necessary weight of required amt potting soil. Attractive design. We chose the light color so to not absorb additional sunlight, hence more heat. The darker choices: green and terracotta, we assume, would absorb more heat as we preferred southern exposure . . . and didn't want smaller plants to be affected. - If placing shade-preferred plants in Stacker, we assume darker colors would be fine. -- USA-MADE a PLUS for us! Thx for great quality! Put to use immediately where we live in shorter growing season. Attractive design and convenience for watering! Highly recommended!

Since my in-ground strawberries were being eaten by something, I wanted to try this tower. So excited to set it up! I used one 25 quart bag of miracle grow potting soil and half a big bag of Krazy Kow manure compost. Mixed them in the wheel barrow with some worm casting and it was the perfect amount of soil. I inserted one side of an old shower rod for stability and set it on a large round drip tray. Oh, I also put it on a caddy with wheels. Within 30 minutes it had fallen over and I had dirt and plants everywhere. My daughter helped me set it upright and I replaced the dirt, repotted my poor little strawberries, and got rid of the rolling caddy. I did keep the drip tray. Today the plants look fine. I have mostly strawberries, lettuce on the top and a few pansies. Hoping for the best! And it's easy enough to turn or slide with just the tray. Will update if anything else happens! If this works out I'll get another. Good luck!

Bought these as a gift for mom. Aunt had purchased four groups of these previously in both black and terracotta. She thinks they are great for her strawberries. They are made in the USA, at least as of March 2022.The ones I received (all five pots) had multiple cosmetic defects caused during the manufacturing process (see pics). The defects were full thickness and could be seen on both the inside and outside of the pot, as if foreign material was caught during the molding process. These would not affect functionality, just the appearance. I checked the four sets my aunt has, and none of them had these defects.I thought Mr Stacky would want to know of this quality control issue. I tried to contact the company by phone using the two listed numbers on their website multiple times, but no one ever answered the phone. I then used the web based contact form on the company website, but again, no one ever responded. At a later date, I logged into Amazon, and used their "contact seller" link and waited two days longer than they recommended...still no response. Having no response from the company, I then contacted Amazon customer service. Amazon stated that they would contact Mr Stacky directly on my behalf. I was then contacted by Mr Stacky within 24 hours.Mr Stacky stated "We suspect these are due to Amazon storage."Mr Stacky also offered to replace them. As I had already wasted a week of no responses from them, and it was a cosmetic, not a functional, defect, I had already put them into use, so this was not an option.I support Made in USA products/companies as much as I can. Keep it local. But if a company refuses to acknowledge a manufacturing blemish or cannot answer their own phone, own web contact, or any other customer initiated contact, I will take my business elsewhere.Product, sans defects - 5 star.Customer service - 1 star.Would have liked to have know if the product was made of recycled or virgin plastic, but that question was never answered...and now that ship has sailed.

Very happy with the purchase. The slots are large enough for an entire herb/flower plant. The center of the top tray is equivalent to 5 slots. I've put 4 trays together and deciding what to grow in the fifth tray. Not thought, the center drain hiked are quite large so I covered it with white cloth to prevent the soil from falling through. Also added a caddy at the bottom to keep the planter off the ground.
