I recently ordered this Large Challenge Coin Display Case by AW BRIDAL for our son as a way to display his challenge and memorabilia coin collection. Both of my photos are shown with the door open - the glass is very reflective and I could not get a good picture of the inside without reflections of the camera. What I like - It looks good, has a nice finish, and has a decent latch. What I dislike - Really, nothing. A bit difficult to get the protective plastic sheet completely removed, and I do need need to use a knife or razor to clean up the edges of the lingering bits of plastic, but I'd rather see the protective sheet present than absent, so that's a net win for the buyer. What surprised me - As you see in my second photo, the rails can come out. I did not expect that. Therefore, even my largest challenge coins can go in this case, albeit with the loss of a shelf to fit them. I got a bit overzealous when I realized that and figured that also meant that I could reverse the shelves and thus reverse which side the hinge was on. Well . . . almost. I did do that, but what I found was that the two rail slots you see in the removed shelves do appear in the bottom-most board, but not in the top-most. I can reverse everything like I said, but I wind up with a bottom shelf that does not have the grooves/rails for the coins if I do so.What also surprised me - the two rail slots mean that I can use either a more upright or slanted approach to displaying the coins. It's a nice little detail that gives me more flexibility.I don't know about "large" - I was never a big challenge coin collector (I'm still finding them right now), but I realize that if I keep the coins one row deep (use only one rail per shelf), it will hold about 30 small coins. If I use both rails and stagger them, then I can likely get it to hold about 45. That's a significant number, but I know some people who collected challenge coins had far more than that. So . . . large is a matter for the beholder. My final photo shows a Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) challenge coin (with the eagle) in the rear slot and an Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) challenge coin (with the compass rose) in the front slot. Both are small format coins and show the capacity for you to judge for yourself. Not sure what the bag of pins are for, but they came with it. I do have a challenge coin that is a triangle shape, so I am guessing they can hold coins like that upright but I did not test them.

I've amassed quite a few challenge coins and wanted something to display them. At this price it just wasn't worth building my own display box. They sit in here nicely and the box has an elegant finish. The hinge and latch won't take much abuse, but given the cool and rare coins in here, I hope it never gets put to the test. I am very happy with this item.

I’m very pleased with this challenge coin display case! The sleek black design and quality finish make it a great addition to any room. The clear front panel offers excellent visibility for your collection, and the case feels sturdy and well-made, perfect for displaying coins, pins, or other memorabilia. One thing I particularly like is the removable shelves, which allow for flexible arrangement. You can adjust the shelves or even remove them entirely to fit larger items, making it adaptable to different types of collectibles. The two rail slots give you the option to display the coins either more upright or slightly slanted, which is a nice touch. The case holds about 30 small coins if you use one rail per shelf or around 45 if you stagger them, so it has a good capacity. The protective plastic sheet on the front was a bit tricky to remove, but I’m glad it was there to keep the glass in perfect condition. While the case may not be ideal for those with very large collections, it's perfect for smaller to medium-sized collections. The added flexibility with the shelves makes it even more versatile, and the craftsmanship is impressive for the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking to display their treasured challenge coins or other memorabilia in style!

Well built, good materials and design. One thing to consider is if you have larger coins 2”+ they may only fit on the top shelf.
