I started this project thinking it would take an hour to complete since the description indicated that. It was NOT an hour. Total assembly time took about 3 hours. It came in 3 large, heavy boxes. All pieces were included, as were instructions. The most difficult part of assembly was knowing which direction and where to put certain pieces. (For example should a piece face up or down. Or which side of the drawer slider brackets should face out) The instructions aren’t very thorough so you really have to think it through and make educated guesses.Once assembled, the quality was ok not great. The drawers don’t go in and out smoothly and the locks on the front didn’t line up where the holes were drilled so we had to drill new ones. The color was true to the photo. It works as expected for dogs that don’t try to escape. I could see it being an issue if you have dogs that want to break out. The measurements are as shown. My dogs already love it and sleep in there even with the doors open. One is a 70lb pit mix and the other 78lb American Foxhound. It supports their weight just fine and provides plenty of space for their beds that came out of a 36” crate and a 42” crate.

I’ll try to keep this short and sweet. They originally didn’t send all the packages needed to build the kennel. Also received damaged product. Multiple packages had to get sent for all the pieces damaged and also missing many pieces. Once assembled it’s questionable at best. If you bump it on one end. It can cause it to bind and the doors start to scrape floor. Some holes are off like. 1/8” so doors don’t fit. Will have to replace this when we move next year. Definitely wouldn’t recommend in conjunction with super delayed replies. Took weeks to get it to a point it was usable. Will be getting a custom one made locally next time for $200 more than the cost of this one and it’s real wood and painted. Not cheap board with laminate on it.

Plan for a few hours at least to build this thing and take your time. It is brutal. But after all is said and done, you have a beautiful piece that is sturdy and does the job of housing the pups. I am a bit aggravated that the door locks don't line up perfectly and are difficult to get closed every night, but I will probably replace them eventually. Overall, I am very pleased.

We wanted a nice crate for our large dog that would match the look of our house and give us some extra space for the kitchen appliances. We removed the center bars to make one large crate with a bed on one side and food/water dishes on the other side. Used some contact paper on white display cabinets to create a full wall piece. Really pleased with the sturdiness as our dog is a 100+ pound wrecking ball and he hasn't managed to bust through this.Removed a star cause we didn't end up using the back rack since the two middle parts are floating and did not meet up flush with each other. Also we had issues with the location of the drill holes for the latches. some of them are very loose and others you have to push the door down slightly to force them in, which is removing the black paint from the latches.

This product is sturdy and if you wanted on assembled and as heavy, you would not find under $1200. The PRICE, reflects the time needed to assemble. Took the two of us 4 hours, and the instructions are not clear, but with patience you will figure it out. It is WORTH it! High quality and very heavy and STRONG!! It looks beautiful in my home and glad the ugly black wire crate is gone..

Very impressed with the quality and construction of this beautiful dog kennel. Aside from one drawer being off a few inches, all the pre drill locations and other fasteners aligned perfectly. Easy to follow instructions. This is a weekend project taking a day or two to assemble. Huge piece of really nice furniture.

I searched high and low for a double dog crate that was going to make the dog area look a lot nicer. I purchased this after comparing to other crates because of its size. I have a 60 pound Australian Shepard who couldn't stand up in his old crate, so I wanted something a little bigger. This gives him plenty of room to stretch out, and it matches the farmhouse style throughout my house. The drawers are also a nice touch to keep all of their gear. It arrived in three different packages and was packaged very well. I did have one piece that had a crack in it and wouldn't have held up if I used it. I contacted the seller through Amazon and they immediately sent a new piece. I received a few days later and that too came packaged very securely. I don't write many reviews, but felt I should since I so pleased with everything. It was a little time consuming to put together but well worth it!

This arrived with one broken piece. I emailed on a Friday night when we started to assemble, the company responded right back, and the new piece was delivered by Tuesday. It's like IKEA furniture to install, not hard to do, just takes a little time. It's good looking, but this size is very large. It's surprisingly sturdy. We have 2 Ridgebacks, and they not only fit in this crate, but really enjoy being in here. We use a regular dog bed inside and yes, it does curve up on the sides, but the dogs like that. The drawers hold dog leashes and dog toys. We have our TV on top. It is a pretty massive piece of furniture, so make sure you know the measurements! Overall, i like this so much better than a bunch of dog crates all over the house.
