This review is for the 40-oz ramen cooker with a strainer from Ronanemon. I got the pink one.At first, I wasn't quite sure how to use it because the box didn’t specify how much water to use or how long to microwave it. (I only noticed that it mentioned three minutes in the description after my first few attempts.) To improve the customer's experience, I suggest including clear usage instructions inside the package, as I expected to find them with a product like this.I wanted to be able to have the option to use my hot-water kettle to make the noodles so that I could make them without going to my kitchen and using the microwave. I was a little sad that it didn't work because I still end up having to use the microwave. After some trial and error (I figured it out after three tries), I heat water in my kettle until it turns off, then pour it over the block of ramen. After that, I microwave it for three minutes, and the noodles come out just as I like them.I kind of wish I could just use my kettle because I can't always walk to my kitchen and like to have my kettle next to where I sit so I could fix them without standing up, but I think this will work for now.I did see instructions on the side of the box for using boiling water, but that method didn’t work out for me. I believe that’s because I can't remove my kettle from the base until it stops boiling. The instructions specifically say to use boiling water, so I think it's probably important to use water while it's still at a rolling boil for that method to work successfully. My favorite feature of this ramen cooker is the strainer. In the past, I used another pasta cooker where I had to scoop the noodles out and drain the water manually, so it's much easier and faster to simply lift the inner bowl and allow the water to drain automatically into the bottom bowl.I noted that it could be used for other things, and I am planning to do some experimenting. I would like to try and heat canned soup with it next. I already used the inner bowl to heat some frozen pre-cooked chicken, and it came out perfectly. While the price could ideally be a bit lower, I believe the convenience and ease of use are worth the cost, especially for ramen fans.

Advertises in the product name that it works for buldak noodles. I assumed the bowl would be wide enough then because buldak noodles are large and square. It does not fit them. Don't waste your time and money with this if that's why you're buying it. Typical Amazon letting their storefront run rampant with products that just lie to their customers.

Bought this on a whim and regretted my purchase and planned on returning it until I used it. It was very convenient and much better than using normal Tupperware and all that. I don’t eat a lot of ramen but I think that’s going to change. Nifty little product that I keep at work and am considering buying another one for home. Definitely recommend to anyone who heats up any type of noodles and what not.

I got this bowl because ramen is such an easy meal to make at work, and I'm not a huge fan of cup ramen. The bowl and strainer are very large and fit a brick of ramen with a little room to spare. According to the instructions, you fill the bowl with water after placing the ramen inside, put the lid on, and heat it for 3 to 5 minutes. I initially set the timer for 3 minutes, but I hadn't completely covered the ramen brick with water. So, I added more water to cover the ramen and ran it for an additional 2 minutes. Once it was done, I poured out a bit of the water, put the ramen back in the bowl, added the flavor packet, and let it sit for a few minutes to cool. It cooked the ramen thoroughly, and it tasted like I had made it on the stove, which was great! Afterward, I placed all the parts of the ramen cooker in the dishwasher and ran it on a high-heat, long cycle. The bowl didn’t warp, nor did it show any signs of damage or blemishes from the dishwasher.Overall, I recommend this ramen bowl to anyone looking for an easy meal option at work or home.
