I got this for my sons to use to make the block Ramen easier in the microwave. I have one son who detests the little vegetables that come in the premade cups so this is perfect for him. He is able to add the water and make the block Ramen in the microwave without having to worry about him using the stove. It does have a strainer on the top that allows you to drain the liquid, but we don’t use it that way. This is a great, if simple, product in that it’s basically just a plastic container but it’s large enough that the block fits in nicely. We don’t really use the utensils or chopsticks that came with it but it’s a nice addition. everything can be thrown in the dishwasher for easy cleanup as well.

I'm generally very pleased with this item and have used it several times. I like the vent and the capability to drain off as much of the water as I want without removing the lid. The utensils included are basically useless for people with larger adult-sized hands. I think the price is a little high for the product.
