I like it. I had to play with it for a bit to get used to it and get confident with it but now that I am I find it extremely useful. So much easier than trying to get my old tape to stay rigid. I do have to use my reading glasses to read the fractional part of the measure but that is my old age issue.

Makes life much easier if you measure a lot, just keep in mind somethings are still best measured with a regular tape (such as a table) so you probably want both a tape and laser measure. there are units with both combined.It also lets you choose the reference point to be the bottom or the top of the device, and the bubbles are very helpful for making sure your measurements are correct.in my case it was very accurate on various surface types.

I almost didn't purchase this due to negative reviews. Very happy I did! Super easy to use and is accurate! You can shoot from the heel or have it use the front of the device as it's base reference - very handy! Love using this thing! So much easier than a tape measure - and it appears to be just as accurate. I always double-check anyway, but so far haven't had to make any adjustments! Highly recommend!

For accuracy in measuring, this was well worth the money. The product worked as described and once you got used to the format, you could easily read the dial. It is very easy to use and the battery life was ideal. The accuracy is great and you cannot go wrong. This will help you in any of your projects. Definitely a great buy.

Works nice and has good range. The only thing I do not like is when measuring long distances the slightest movement when pushing the Red read bottom on the device can move the far target off center giving an incorrect reading were you have to reset and try again. A remote or a lighter touch button would be nice.
