Your cart is empty.The Old Candle Barn is located in Intercourse PA, nestled in the heart of Amish Country. Local craftsmen have been hand pouring and dipping candles the old fashioned way for over 40 years, and have since expanded their line to include potpourri made with high quality botanicals to match their jar scents. The Old Candle Barn started out in John and Fannie Beiler's basement during the late 1960's. The candle making business expanded so rapidly they had to move the operation three times before settling in Intercourse where the current building consists of approximately 28,000 sq. feet. Here at the Old Candle Barn we like to say "Blow out the lights and turn on the candles".

This is the worst smelling product. No hint of lavender.

I waited about a month to see how these would do before I wrote a review. I'm a little disappointed. I have one jar in my living room/dining area and one small vase in my bedroom. Initially, the scent was super strong (sometimes overwhelming) to the point that it reminded me of incense in a smoke shop; however, I would say that within a couple of weeks the smell had dissipated and I had to shake the containers to disperse the smell more. Now you almost can't smell them even after shaking up the containers. Considering how much I paid for this, I'm disappointed.
