The screen was easy to place, only on top, behind the camera it wouldn’t fit all the way in. Maybe I should have removed another bracket? But I Already used the adhesive tape so i couldn’t fix it any more.Tip: first put in in the screen completely than use the tape only when it fits. 😝

So it works! And they worked with me when the first screen I ordered came to me cracked and quickly sent a replacement. The instructions suck if you have never done this before, but it isn't a difficult job to figure out. My one complaint is that the adhesive strip on the back is too thick and so the screen won't pop all the way back in to the housing/back cover and sort of sticks out, which is concerning. But it works!

Bought this to replace screen on HP Model 14b-ca0013dx. Triple checked product description to confirm compatibility. Took apart computer and went to install the replacement screen. Would not fit in one spot. On closer comparison, the replacement screen had an additional portion of plastic that kept it from seating properly. Screen cracked in the process of taking everything back apart. Waste of time and money. Buyer beware!

Once I opened the package I realized this was a used product/returned product. There were fingerprints all over the screen and backside. There are scratches all over the silver part and the orange tape was lifted. I elected to install it anyway, seeing as the scratches are on the backside and should not interfere with the products ability to be used. I hooked it up, and it doesnt work! I had to reinstall the old screen for the time being.

My son broke his chromebook screen. After watching a Youtube video and this video. It seemed cheaper and easier to replace ourselves. I will say there was more glue to remove the old screen than expected. But once the old one was off this was super simple and easy to snap on. Restart so keyboard works and voila fixed screen!

Product was as advertised, video was helpful for install. If I would have just purchased another chromebook it would have cost me 400.
