Instructional video in pics of product to view before you buy, was about an 8 and a half minute video. Spot on accurate and better than any written instructions I could have read. I certainly appreciate that, as an aircraft mechanic, I can watch the video before I buy it to make sure it’s within my realm of capabilities. My laptop is back to brand new again, as a couple of months ago it fell out of my work van hitting the concrete and the screen was done. This was a $1,400 laptop and a computer repair store wanted to charge me $640.00 to replace the screen. While I’ve never performed this type of repair on a laptop, or for that matter any repair on any laptop, this seller provided the information to give me confidence to purchase it, making me believe I can do this myself. I followed the instructional video and sure enough, never doing this before, only took me an hour and I had a brand new laptop screen. I was about to drop another $1,400 on another laptop, for less than $200 I got my old one back, with all my saved passwords, and links for work. 2 thumbs way up, excellent instructions and easy to follow.Next damaged laptop I have, I’ll be looking to this place.Thank you for making this painless.Matt.

This item shipped free next day with prime. I also watched the video beforehand to make sure the repair was possible for me to complete. Though this kit didn't have any tools with it (unlike some other replacement screen kits), really just an old credit card and tweezers would do in a pinch. Replacement was easier than other screens I've done. It was advertised for $107 with free ship and touchscreen functionality, and it was exactly that! The price was better than other options too. Really just a win win. Note: I had the person whose laptop was broken buy this item with their prime, and I simply did the repair for them. Hence the unverified purchase, but I was so satisfied I wanted to write one anyways!

The first one did not work or I just didn't try enough times. The second one acted a little flakey at first but then it started working perfectly on 2nd boot. So don't just try it once and give up if doesn't power up. Also, pay attention to the data plug. Mine has a little clamp that holds it on but I did not see that in the video.
