I bought this item for a Lenovo yoga 730 15ikb, and when the screen is plugged into the correct cables on my computer it does not activate. When I reattached the old screen it worked

I bought this screen to replace a cracked screen for my Yoga 730-15IKB.It fit perfectly, and the touch screen is working well. I did have two small pieces of confusion when installing the screen, although overall the video was really helpful to guide my install. First, the video has one step that seems unnecessary (peeling back the control board on the old screen). Second, the video shows the screen coming with some adhesive pre-applied for reapplying the magnets, which my screen didn't have.That said, I contacted the seller and got amazingly quick responses that pointed me towards using the extra double-sided tape that they sent. That fast customer service was a great plus!The only other reason I'd mark down to 4 stars was that it came with (or potentially I messed up while installing, but not sure) one pixel that is locked to red. I only notice it sometimes.Overall, would certainly use again. (Although I hope not - the way you install the double-sided tape means that getting the screen back off is going to be tricky...)

It is not the same screen, even though the same size, all the components are in a different spots.Se pic 2. Long vertical Red line shows the edges of both screens lined up. The longer connectors don't line up and are different size conectrors. The holes with blue short lines don't match either. Took me 2 hours to open the computer,,i couldn't replace the screen,, now you know what happens with all little screws and parts. Why people do this????, knowingly send wrong stuff and have the guts to say; ignor the differece, can you imagine how wrong this is???

I give this a 1 not so much for the product but because we cannot get it to connect to windows. And believe me I've had 2 top-notch techs that are continuing to try. If nothing works at all I will have spent that money for nothing not to mention having to purchase a new computer and being without my laptop for days.

Is NOT compatible with 730-15IWL or 81JS0088US.LCD worlds, touch does not as it is totally different touch controller board than original LCD.Disappointing at best.
