These 2 educational toys are fun.The rocket ship has a button on top that twists and makes clicking noises. Inside it has glitter (always a must) and stars and a spaceman. The planet does glows in the dark and inside it has stars and an alien. If you hold the ring around the planet, the planet spins.I had fun playing with them and so did a 17-year-old.A child should not be able to break either, without intentionally doing so.Good gift for a child who is gifted or not.

The planet GLOWS IN THE DARK! This is such a fun little set that has been great for a travel toy and just playing with around the house. The planet has a nice spinning function to it and inside the beads there is a cute little alien which makes for a fun little hide and seek. Inside of the spaceship there is an astronaut and my toddler loves to shake it up to really get the glitter floating around! These are both a great quality, well made and feel very durable. Good pricepoint and would make such a fun birthday gift for a little one! Love the sensory aspect of it and definitely feels relaxing to fidget with. The glow in the dark planet is so fun whether at bedtime or during travel if you are making a long drive where it will be dark in the car.

I was looking forward to getting this set of fidgets as my daughter loves space and likes fidget type toys. Overall they are well made and I have no complaints about that. However, they aren't fidgets as I expected. You get two. One is a planet with little plastic (?) things inside. The ring rotates around the planet itself and you can shake it. It sounds pretty loud to me (heard it from upstairs in our house when she was downstairs) and I couldn't wait for my daughter to stop shaking it. The other is a rocket ship with liquid in it that seems to be an oil/water/dye mix that swirls around and settled. The rocket ship also has a little astronaut figure inside. The liquid in the rocket ship settles REALLY fast and that was very disappointing. I was hoping it would be more like a sensory calm down bottle that takes a while to settle, but sadly it isn't. They each also have glow in the dark elements to them.I think this would be an ok fidget set for a younger child--3 or 4, maaaaaaybe 5. But it is sort of boring for an older child because they don't really give good fidgeting play.Pros:-Well made and sturdy-Good for small hands-Parts glow in the darkCons:-The planet fidget is really loud when you shake it--like a maraca.-The liquid in the rocket ship settles within seconds-Not good for older childrenI'm giving this 4 stars because there is nothing wrong with the quality of the product, but it is just too immature for my 7 year old. They will ultimately end up being displayed on a shelf or something.

My son loves rocket ships and has wanted a toy one for a while so I figured this would be a nice little treat for him. He was very amused there was a guy inside the ship floating around and liked shaking it around. His next obsession with it was when I told him it glows in the dark. We did have to hold it up directly to the light to get it the glow brightly in the dark, so I don't expect passive light to give you brilliant glowing, you have to intentionally charge it. He then proceeded to play with it as a normal toy rocket having it fly around the house making rocket noises. The plant he was amused with the glow in the dark feature like the space ship but the same issue with it not glowing too brightly when just in a well lit room, but needing to be held up directly to the light to fully glow in the dark. He let it rattle a few times and then pretty much ignored it.These are being sold as fidget toys and my son did not use either as such. I don't even think he noticed the rocket ship top turned until I showed him and he didn't replicate the action after I showed him and just continued playing with it as a normal ship. With the planet he knocked it off the table a few times to get it to rattle but that was it. He did shake the rocket ship a bit to move the pieces but did he ever use it passively to fidget with, not at all.

I have a child with autism, and finding good fidget toys is always something of value. These seemed like they could be interesting, and were nice and large/chunky, so I gave them a shot. My child enjoys looking at and studying them, but they don't really "play" with them, due to some odd design choices. The spaceship has pretty limited value as a fidget toy. You can twist the top to make a clicking noise, but my child finds this to be difficult (and it's not terribly obvious), so all you can really do is shake it. The planet, though, has a flattened bottom, which I could see being sold as a way to make it sit on a table easier, but it also makes it less versatile. You effectively can only spin the planet while holding the rings. Having a spherical planet would have given kids way more options. All that said, these are still nice, chunky, durable toys if you have a kid who's even remotely into space. I don't think it'll be a go-to fidget toy, but they may find value in their other elements.

I'm a bit conflicted here, because the overall quality is good, and they're nice toys...for very small kids. The thing is, they're large and loud. True fidget toys are small and silent, so they can be manipulated during class or church or a meeting without causing distraction for others while helping the user. These are like baby rattles, almost. They're nice looking and sturdy, but I feel like they've been marketed incorrectly.
