Inferior leather (if leather). I wish Amazon would give “made in” information. If I had know it was from India, I would never have ordered. Very disappointed.

I am an experienced equestrian but recently bought a young, fiesty horse, who was prone to bucking. I purchased this, “oh crap strap” to have a little extra something to grab should my horse start acting naughty. So far, so good. It’s a strong leather strap that attaches easily to the front D rings of an English saddle, so it is easily within reach. You are never too experienced to not make safety a priority. Happy riding!

I put this on my Wintec English saddle in case I ever need something to grab while riding, but I use it a lot for grabbing while taking the saddle off the saddle rack. It has held up well for that! It does not get in the way of anything while riding. Someday I may try attaching a small pouch on either side for a trail ride if I need to carry something.
