Seem to fit a bit tight in the large and I'm in the middle of the ranges on the size chart. All fabrics are very thin. The rear mesh acceptably so. However the interior and exterior of the front are an extremely thin Lycra and a loosely wound burlap type fabric that looks tough but sustained some snags on the first ride, coming from a pair of TLD that lasted a decade I don't see nearly the same quality of materials. Good compromise of weight/comfort/protection for trail and Enduro, but longevity will be the true test for these.UPDATE: Once tight pads have lost nearly all elasticity and are CONSTANTLY sliding down during a ride. Not a surprise the MSRP of these dropped nearly $40. Junk. If you are a pro rider and can replace them every few weeks when they turn into a droopy wizard sleeve, but if you want a pad to last at least a season, look elsewhere.
