I have 5 silver instruments and I purchased three Leblanc Woodwind Instrument Cleaning And Care Product (3292) cloths to help keep the horns clean when my older cloths were no longer effective. I was very disappointed to find that all three cloths did not have polishing compound on the pink cloth layer, making them useless for cleaning off silver oxide tarnish. Unfortunately, I did not determine this in time to exchange or return the cloths, and the manufacturer (Conn-Selmer, Inc.) would not deal with me. Save your money and look elsewhere for polishing cloths that polish.

Once again this was recommended my my son's trumpet teacher for his new (thanks to his grandmother) silver trumpet. The two of them think it's fabulous. I personally avoid buying anything I need to polish as I have plenty of other things I'd rather be working on.

This works great. I purchased this item to throw in my instrument case. It does a great job polishing nickel and chrome plating on instruments. In particular, I use it to polish the arm rest on a banjo and the resonator cover plate on a dobro. It makes maintenance of the metal plated parts a breeze!

This is probably the best sliver key polisher you'll find....HOWEVER, although it gets the job done, the cloth sheds a lot. After I finished polishing my instrument, I had little white particles all over the floor.

I have one of these from over 20 years ago and it has still held up fine. Bought a new one and it works great. I use it on my silver plated saxophone.

I bought this cleaning cloth for a band-nerd cousin of mine (she's been playing over 10 years now, and has gone through a lot of polishing cloths). She just picked up an old saxophone to add to her collection of instruments, and was in need of a new polishing cloth to shine it up. Once upon a time, she said she'd owned the most amazing polishing cloth... after describing it in excruciating detail, she lamented that she'd had a hard time finding another like it. After a brief search on Amazon, we were able to find what she was looking for, the Leblanc Polishing Cloth Set.Since then, I've seen the cloth in action, and have had a chance to compare it with others. The polish on the cloth doesn't leave a residue, and picks up all the little marks on the brass with barely a swipe. No scrubbing required.According to my cousin, it's the "best polishing cloth ever."

LeBlanc Soft Metal Polishing Cloth Set.I've been using one of these polishing cloths on silver plated trumpets for at least 20 years. The gray side is finally turning black in places from the silver, which means it's time for a replacement. Since these work so well, I saw no reason to change brands, and just ordered two more. The pink inner cloth does a great job of removing spots and tarnish, and the gray cloth restores the silver to a perfect shine without using silver polish. Highly recommended.
