The housing is light but sturdy. The install was very easy. Battery lasted as advertised when tested.

This double headed LED emergency exit sign and light combo has two adjustable light heads on either side of the exit sign plus a backup Battery. The light is hardwired and as soon as the power goes off, the headlights come on with the backup battery. The material feels a bit flimsy so I would only place this inside. It looks nice and professional with the lights on. The wire instructions are in a video on this listing but I feel they could have done a better job explaining. My hubby was able to figure it out and the light looks really nice above our door.

I got one for the front and one for the back door. We used to have red on our old shop but we went with green. It’s a lot cooler color lol last ones didn’t have the lights like these ones I think it’s pretty cool.

I want to give this exit sign 4 stars, but even at $28 I can't. There's just not much too this light. The whole thing is plastic. The white housing is a very thin flexible plastic in 2 pieces that snap together. If you're hanging it where both sides will be visible, you pop the 2 halves apart and replace the solid back piece with the extra EXIT cut-out piece that's included in the box, at which time you'll see that the green part of the sign is just a paper-thin piece of green plastic. Be careful, it can be poked out with a finger, even after the housing is put back together. This sign is 100% for indoor use, and if you smack it with something like a ladder, your ladder is going to come out just fine... the sign, not so much. The battery backup is very nice, but also a common feature on emergency signs. The lights are definitely nice to have, but if you've ever been in a school hallway when the emergency lights come on, these are nowhere near as bright. If you're looking for something durable and industrial, this is not your sign. If you're looking for an inexpensive or novelty sign, this one is for you... when there's a coupon or it's on sale for $20 or less.

I want to update this review. I got this light, and another virtually identical one. I got a third, cooler looking one from another manufacturer, of different design, that's clear glass/lexan that gets end-lit when the light comes on. It was considerably more expensive, and horribly difficult to assemble/install. This one (these two) was less expensive, provides better light, and was simpler to install. I can't upgrade it from 5 stars, but I want to sing the praises more - after a side-by-side comparison with a competitive product this one looks even better - this is a re-endorsement.I’ve got a large heated barn. When the power goes out, it’s dark AF in there. I got one of these for each exit, and another for the top of the stairs in the attic. I’ve wired a standard 110 plug on them, and they get plugged in. If power goes out, they light up. Battery, out of the box, lit up for over an hour.Build quality is pretty good. I’m in my 60s and I expect these to outlast me. It is a piece of mind to know that if the power goes out (which it has several times) I will not be stumbling around in the dark looking for a light switch. There is a light switch by ejects at door and this exit light is by each door. For this price, I think this is a very good value and I’m giving it five stars.

I like that it is green abmnd different than most. It does have a battery back up for the little spot lights. Its not really heavy duty by any means but for the price point i didnt expect that. But it also doesnt feel overly cheap either. One of the guys at my station installed with ease and it works great. Got my habds on a couple to put inside our bathrooms as we lose power alot and have to switch to back generator. It looks nice and its fairly bright too. Great light for a tigh budget. Id definatey recommend!

I liked the price and size of this so ordered it even though I've never seen an exit sign with green lettering (usually red). This is in my home workshop and while I don't need to know where the exit is, having back up lights in case of poweroutage was something I wanted. As such, the green sign is no issue for me. The installation was as expected and the quality is reasonable, not super heavy duty so likely not a great choice in a setting where abuse or vandalism is a concern. OTherwise, perfect for what I wanted it for.

I have a small rental office, and the building recently got a fire inspection. The fire inspector was insistent on having an emergency exit sign and lights in my single room rental office. When I saw this available I grabbed it, hoping it was good quality and would do the trick. It's well made and installation was pretty simple. I was able to pull power from the light fixture in the ceiling tile grid and run a fixture whip over to a box mounted just above the ceiling tiles. I ran short run of conduit down to a box on the wall and mounted this to the junction box. I let it charge for a few hours, then killed the breaker and the emergency exit lights came on!Easy install and good quality, I would definitely recommend it!
