This is as bad as it gets for crappy aftermarket parts. One side had the wrong shape housing, so I swapped the OEM plastic snap on housing in place. Figured I was doing good! Put it in and test it, yay it works! Except the first drive, I realize they only work about a third of the time on both sides.Don't waste your time with this aftermarket part.

No instructions or any other paperwork with these, but pretty straightforward—except trying to figure out which control is for which side. Trial and error for me showed that the control with the white & black wires was the volume control and is placed on the right side of the steering wheel for factory functioning; the control with the red and black wires fit on the other side for changing radio stations. Be sure to test as you install them so you get the orientation (up-down) set properly. (And if you want the controls in the opposite sides, you can switch sides. The function—volume v. station selection—is in the guts of the specific button, not the wiring or location.)Check YouTube for replacement of steering wheel control switches for instructions—and be absolutely certain to disconnect the battery and allow enough time for the air bag capacitors to discharge before disconnecting it so as to avoid an “unpleasant surprise”!Otherwise, these buttons work just like the factory ones.
