I had looked at this a long time before buying it. Price was definitely a consideration. Price was reduced a bit and so I purchased it. So glad I did. As others have said it’s worth the price. Really great with lots of detail. The dancers move smoothly. Fun to watch.

I love this thing , it is awesome! The lights and sound are very good , all the little details all the way around the building are so well thought out. I hesitated for awhile because of the price but it is so worth it.

Great addition to Halloween decor. It looks very cool, the music/adjustable volume control works well, and I’m happy with this purchase. Just be aware: the electrical adapter is in a “hidden” compartment in the top of the styrofoam packing box. The seller actually typed this instruction — in bold — on the invoice, but somehow I missed it for the first 20 minutes. Great piece, highly recommend.

I am building a sort of Bourbon Street Spooky Town dusk to dawn entertainment display and was so happy to find The Gloom Room available at a reasonable retail price. I just started collecting these pieces and was afraid I'd have to pay a lot more to get it from the secondary market or have to wait until late summer when new units started hitting the stores. Then all of a sudden it popped up on Amazon in December. I rushed to buy it and crossed my fingers it would arrive in good shape. And it did. It arrived super quickly and in perfect working condition. I've been trying to steer away from the intricate stuff that have a lot of moving pieces (in fear of them breaking down) but The Gloom Room is way too gorgeous to pass up. If you get it, this will be the showpiece of your collection.
