This spoon has been extremely helpful keeping food from dropping into our son’s bib and actually getting into his mouth. He likes to turn the utensil as he gets closer to his mouth, so this product swivels so even though he is turning his hand, the spoon/fork stays in the correct direction. It has really helped him learn how to actually use a spoon/ fork. Great little invention, would recommend if your child is having a hard time learning how to eat with utensils.

The spoon is great. I wish the spork was a regular fork with the same handle function. All in all, less mess. I would recommend this item.

This was a great way to try something for my autistic 4 year old. And just to get a feel for if adaptive eating utensils would work for him. The mess free utensils seem to work well and are easy to use. And my 18 month old likes them as well. So I will be ordering a second set. Edit I keep checking to see if I can order another set because both my children like using these mess utensils. Hopefully soon I can order more

The spoon and fork came in and were exactly as they were described. They appear to be very durable and are easy to hold. However, I guess I was expecting something different, or should wait and try them again when our grandson is a little older. The movement that exists that keeps them level so less spills take place is very loose. Not that the attachment itself is loose, simply that it moves very freely and it is hard for him to get anything on the spoon or fork. It moves around while he is trying to scoop up the food and he can't get anything in it. It could be simply because he is too young and not quite able to maneuver as he should to scoop up anything. We are going to have to stick to the standard baby spoon for awhile. He can drag it across the bowl and gets food on it, it's just that it may or may not make it to his mouth before it falls off the spoon. We will probably try these again in a couple of months.

I am a special education teacher and I work with students who need adapted utensils. I love these spoons for my student who is working on feeding himself without spilling the contents of this spoon. This spoon/spork (we only use the spoon) has a great swivel. Other spoons I have used get stuck, which is not the case with this one. Also the grip is big and textured for children learning to feed themselves. These work so much better than the expensive metal swivel spoons. Another thing I like about this product is that the scoop part of the spoon is a nice depth for children still learning how to get the contents out of the spoon. All in all it works great for my uses!

They’re not steady enough to eat off or scoop food. It just rotated and moves as my daughter tries to eat. I talked them up way too much and was about to get her daycare manager to supply the kids in all the toddler and infant rooms until I brought them in and we saw the reality of them. Yeah they keep food from falling off that’s bc it’s beyond difficult and nearly impossible to even get the food on!!! They’re TERRIBLEEEE. AND WENT DIRECTLY INTO THE GARBAGE.
