I used this mold for the first time and it worked perfectly. The mold didn't stick to the resin. Shipping was as described. I'll order again from this vendor.

i have pretty much all of LET'S RESIN molds and they're solid, sturdy, well made and don't warp. although this just arrived about a half hour ago and I haven't as yet used it, I have used many other LET'S RESIN molds many times without any problems. This is why i can write this review - the quality is reliable and the price point excellent. Many thanks also to Amazon for the amazingly fast delivery from wherever your warehouse is in the US to here in Canada in 3 days! It arrived ahead of schedule! Also, for anyone thinking of buying pigments of varying types (liquid, powder etc) go ahead and do oit! The colours are great, the variety of their pigments is wonderful - indulge and enjoy.

No problems with these! I’ve used them four times and they work great! Easy to shake out bubbles and I felt that the mould could handle it.

BEFORE YOU RUIN FLOWERS AND MOLDS CASTING WITH EPOXY—— Please do your research. Tons and tons of research. The crap you craft with from Hobby Lobby isn’t going to be what you want to use for this, you’ll burn your flowers and these molds. (See that review with the purple roses)Get a resin meant for casting, pour in layers to avoid over heating and flash cures and burning spots in your delicate flowers, make sure every ounce of moisture is COMPLETELY out of your florals, and if you can’t afford to get a different epoxy- at least spend $10 on a mold release spray and still DO NOT do all of this in less than 3 pours if you’re using anything other than epoxy designed to do that. If you wait for the epoxy to completely cure between pours, you WILL see lines from each pour when you look through the side so if you need to be mindful of when you can mix and pour, be aware of that. These molds will work perfectly fine if you know what you’re doing.Have fun but don’t ruin yours or someone else’s flowers and a brand new mold thinking one resin fits all; it doesn’t.

We're new to epoxy Resin pouring, so we needed a mold. I looked at a lot of smaller molds, but who needs an ashtray anymore? I figured we could easily make tiny pyramids with this, & with the flexibility to make huge ones, too. I love that there are two molds, as hubby can have one, and I can have the other. He made solid pours using the plastic support base, which is perfect. I made a foil tape & cardboard support for the edges of mine, to allow for a hollow pyramid. Both worked perfectly. The edges do rise up a bit - just like water, so when you unmold, there's a hard ridge around the top part. I found a long straight file worked wonders for getting rid of that ridge, without scratching up the part. Made very fast work of it, too.Pros:+ Both our molds released our projects easily, by simply turning them inside out most of the way. I did not want to ruin the tips, so I didn't turn it all the way out. (I used no release agent, just washed & dried.)+ Both molds were a little bit dusty by the feel - inside, so I washed them with mild hand soap and water. Worked great, and they felt very clean after.+ I found it hard to seat the pyramid into the plastic support base, at first. Then I slathered a tiny bit of soapy water inside the plastic part, and whoosh, the mold slipped right in there, and seated perfectly. As it dried, it welded itself to the base, which is good, because it's not gonna get bumped out of position that way. To release it later, I just wetted my hand and pulled around the top edges - letting water drool down between the mold and base, and whoosh, it popped right out, easy peasy.Cons: I don't really have any yet. Perhaps later, if they scratch, or tear, that will be an issue, but so far, we're delighted. I did find them pretty pricey, for what it is, but no moreso than any of the other mold options. At least this one is big enough make something of use. (though, not much use. : )TIP: Be sure to use a toothpick or something to get the air bubble out of the tip, as soon as you start to pour. Our first test - the clear one, has a divot at the point, because there was an air bubble we didn't see. Too bad.

I purchased 2 of these pyramids. Used both once, no problem. Used them second time and both molds stuck to my resin project. Both were ruined due to the silicone melting and sticking to 3 sides of the pyramid, in the same spot! Can not get off the melted silicone. Very disappointed because I wasted resin and gemstones in the resin. I see i am not onlying one this happened to. Seller.... i followed instructions and added mold release. I think these molds are not heat resistant and that they degrade after first use. I also think that leaving resin in mold for less time might work better as the resin is not fully hardened. Have used other molds and have had no problem. Well that was a waste of 40 + dollars. Wish this seller would have warning. Everal weeks later....I sanded down the pieces and re-resined them. They look great. Now for apologies. ... to the seller.... they refunded me the purchase price which shows me they are well intentioned sellers. I found out that the mold release was the issue. Not the molds themselves. I am truly sorry for jumping to conclusion. I ask that all readers learn from my mistake and embarrassment.
