I bought this bottom to make a gingerbread outfit for my kids. The fabric is a soft brushed cotton that is slightly thicker which makes it feel great. My son (5) loved it so much, he asked me to sew the decorations on so he could rip them off and wear the pants for normal wear afterwards. Color is as pictured and size is spot on. Added bonus, pants have pockets…a nice surprise for my son.

Purchased for costume bottoms. We purchased a medium brown. They are tight fitting on the legs but are comfortable. They have lasted through school days and all day play. They wash up well without fading or shrinking.

My son is tiny and I normally order smaller. He is 9 and wears a 7 well. I ordered an 8 because everyone said they run small and they must a little because they fit perfect. The quality is nice, not like sweatpants. They are sort of like the material of carters pajama sets, but a little nicer. We like them.

Bought this for my 4 year old son who is 48 inches tall and has a 22 inch waist. I bought the 8 year old size because I was concerned the length would be to short if I got a smaller size. The length was great a little long so it gathered a little at the bottom which was no big deal, the waist however was a bit big. The string in the front is only for aesthetic it does not tighten the waist area. I was able to fold the waist band once which held the pants up just fine. Pants were bought for a Halloween costume so we did a lot of walking and it didn't bother my son at all.

I bought these pants for my 11 year old son. He's 5'1" and weighs 87 lbs. He's thin and has long skinny legs and it's hard to find pants that are small enough in the waist- yet long enough for his legs. Many of the reviews said these pants run small and to order at least one size up. My son usually wears an 11/12 and I ordered a size 14. My thought was that we could use the drawstring to make the waist tighter if needed. We received the pants and thank goodness I ordered a size 14. These pants fit just right. The drawstring is not functional - it's just for looks. We bought a white pair that will be used in my son's Halloween costume. The pants are made well. The material is similar to a thick cotton tee shirt. The pants would be good for spring or warmer weather but definitely not for cold weather.
