I been useing this for a while seams cheap made but has not failed at all never have a issue using it cast smooth over all the othere styles like this this seams to always out work even the more expensive ones

Doesn't handle larger panfish very well. Don't think it would handle Crappie very good.

Best first fishing reel for my daughter. Great price for a solid, closed bail reel. She’s going to reel with her left hand. So she might as well start from beginning. Super easy to learn how to cast with this reel. Well built. Lightweight

I put this on my kids pole to make it easier to cast. They love it. And as a bonus I don’t have to deal with birdnest fishing line when we are out anymore

I bought this as a replacement trigger reel. I'm using it mated to a lightweight rod and it works great. Casts well with minimal weight. Retrieves well on small panfish, I haven't hooked anything large yet so can't comment on durability. Very pleased with purchase.
