Would rate a 0 if possible. Bought this about a month ago. It worked right out of the box and I was very happy with it until it stopped working after two weeks of use. I thought maybe I just got a bad one, so I exchanged if for a new one, which arrived yesterday. The new one does not work at all and it's in full sun! Don't waste your money.

Put in 100 gallon outdoor tank. Received the 14th of June 2024, it stopped working the 24th of June 2024. Only 10 days of use. The Solar disk panel looks good quality, the hose, one way valve and air stone worked fine. Plenty of extra hose provided for deeper projects. In my 40+ years of electrical experience, cycling on and off will shorten the life of a motor and this is designed to cycle on and off every 10 seconds. I did not expect it to last long and see multiple confirming reviews. It would be more peaceful for fish and people if it stayed on. I would pay more for a quality product that I could at least get a couple of seasons use. Thank you, great idea, please upgrade.

This is a follow-up- it has saved my fish. I just ordered another one! My first one worked like a champ AND even after repeated attempts by my dog (I think) to stop it by pulling it out of the pond! It produces a steady but only slight noise while it runs, which was no issue to me, but I'm guessing my dog did not like. It also cycles to save energy, which I like. I repeatedly had to go to the pond (deep in the woods), which is down to about two feet deep, and put it back in, (sometimes finding it upside-down stuck in mud) and this last time, IT'S COMPLETLY GONE! Something has removed it, and I have scoured the woods and it is nowhere to be found! IT PERFORMED SO WELL I HAVE BOUGHT ANOTHER TO REPLACE IT. I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS LITTLE AERATOR. When it was in the water, it would solar charge and run without fail, even in a pond surrounded by high trees limiting the sunlight. I love this little thing. It is dependable. Great value for the cost.

I set it up, put in the water and if there were bubbles coming out, I couldn't see them. I could hear the little .00001 horse power motor running for all its worth, but nothing happening. Don't waste your money.

They quit working in July only worked 2 months. Seller refunded purchase price and replaced at no charge with a new unit of better quality.

I got this for my outdoor pond and it is not even worth the $35 price.1) There is no anchor line of any kind so it drifts with the breeze into covered areas or up against the shallow side. Attached a line to anchor out in the middle.2) The airline does not fit well with the outlet on the bottom and just falls off so had to be glued in place.3) Produces very little airflow even from the very beginning unless in direct clear sunlight and stops almost immediately once the light fades unlike the description which states that the battery will charge and then run a few hours after dark.4) After only about two weeks completely stopped working altogether even in direct clear sunlight.This is cheap garbage and not worth buying if you plan to actually use it.
