replaced the failed ac compressor relay in our 2003 4Runner and now the AC works great again! too bad the old one picked a trip to Death Valley to die on!

Did exactly what it is supposed to do! This fixed the blinking AC light with no AC in my 2003 Lexus ES-300.

I bought this relay to fix a problem with my AC light blinking / AC not working because the compressor clutch wasn't engaging when the AC was turned on. A number of 2001 - 2004 Toyota and Lexus vehicles were shipped with a defective AC clutch relay. Lexus and Toyota put out technical service bulletins recommending that the original relay be replaced with this one. I ordered this through Amazon, sold by Dropped Price Sales. It shipped within 6 hours of the order being placed on Saturday morning and arrived Monday. Swapping out the relay is very easy and can be done in about 5 minutes. The same relay is sold under "Toyota 90987-02028" by the same seller. Although it is shipped without factory packaging, it is stamped Toyota with the applicable part number and has DENSO engraved on the top, same as the one it replaced. It appears to be new OEM as advertised and did fix my AC problem.Here's a condensation of the two TSBs:Lexus Technical Service Information Bulletin # EL009-05Toyota Technical Service BULLETIN EL011-05This bulletin is to provide information regarding countermeasures to the A/C magnetic clutch relay for A/C light flashing (inoperative A/C) issues on some vehicles equipped with a magnetic clutch compressor.Applicable Lexus Vehicles: 2002 -2004 ES 300 & ES 330; 2003 - 2004 GX 470Applicable Toyota Vehicles: 2001 - 2004 Camry, ECHO, and Celica; 2002 - 2004 4Runner, Corolla, and MR2 Spyder; 2003 - 2004 Highlander, Matrix, Sienna, and Solara1. Locate the A/C magnetic clutch relay. (My note - It's in the main, under the hood, fuse box and is labeled "MG CLT" for magnetic clutch)2. Verify the part number printed on the side of the relay.A.
