My daughter isn't a gamer but does use her laptop often. She was happy with the size and the weight. It feels sturdy and is pretty durable though she did invest in a good carrying case for it for added protection. The keyboard and touch screen are both great.

I was very much on the fence between a MacBook Air or the LG laptop. I bought the version with 32GB Ram and 2TB storage. I work a lot with Photoshop, so I need the power. The fact that this laptop has a touch screen, can be folded so to use as an iPad and is LIGHT (lighter as MacBook Air) makes my iPad redundant. It comes with a pen to use for e.g. painting. I used to work on my desktop for “serious” photo and video editing, but this laptop does it all.It is so light that I can take it everywhere.I cannot understand that there aren’t many more laptops out there that have a touchscreen and that are foldable! You can fold it like a tent and watch movies on it!Highly recommended!

I like this laptop! It is so much faster than my older one! Fast boot up time, it's lightweight, and the battery lasts a long time. I knew I wasn't getting a separate numeric keypad on a unit this small, and I might choose to go with a larger one that includes that feature if I was doing it again.

I bought the Gram b/c I needed to have my primary machine w/ me at all times. Whether it was to pull reference material, trade risk assets, or read my books, I wanted to have my machine w/ me at all times. I already had a new i7 NUC and an i7 desktop Linux box but I needed a machine that was fluid and portable. This thing was way cheaper than a Surface all-in and the Evo chip gives you 22 cores - physical/virtual. TOPS wasnt great but I wasnt looking to build a flamethrower i9 desktop that I would need a forklift to carry around. Truth told, I am actually waiting for the 15th/16th gen to build another rocketship but for $ 1600, this was an easy option to hold me over. Windows 11 home doesnt bother me. Its got 32GB of memory and a 2TB NVME split into two partitions. Graphics are pleasing. I coupled it to a Pluggable Thunderbolt 4 dock at home and a cheap "import" T3 dock at my other house. It works very well at both houses and I am satisfied with the purchase.

This LG gram replaced my 8 yr old W10 laptop already on its second battery and going. I'm retired and use it for web browsing, email, MS office routine low intensity use, streaming media, Zoom. No graphics editing or computer games. I use it at least a few hours/day. Using it now for about 3 weeks.Overall an excellent laptop. Lightweight, comfortable in a "lap", keyboard comfortable, camera and mic and speakers OK, but nothing to write home about. Adequate performance for my uses. Setup was straight forward.Rough edges:The battery run time spec is 20+ hours. Turns out that the 5th agent I spoke with explained that the spec refers to idle streaming not general purpose use. I get about 10 hours -- still not bad. There only one USB-A port and no HDMI port or larger memory card slot. Unit comes with an adapter for USB-C to HDMI. I have not yet had to use the dock I purchased. The default setting was transfer everything to MS OneDrive so I was very confused and had to transfer my files several times and unlink OneDrive. There is a built in default that uses the camera or some other sensor to detect if you are present in front of the laptop. If not, it goes to sleep in about 1 min despite much longer sleep settings. Took 4 or 5 agents before one finally explained that an onboard app called LG Glance can control that feature.Documentation is inadequate and tech support is unpredictable. The user manual "Easy Guide" is sometimes ambiguous about feature presence or setting location because LG tried to cover too many different configurations with a single manual Furthermore the support staff, especially the ones on the chat line, have trouble with some questions. For example, when I first complained that I was not seeing 20+ hours of usage, the first agent said I could run a battery report that I could get with the BIOS, but the user manual does not describe how to do that. A second agent told me to run a Powershell script -- that worked, but the very same report is available directly in the settings menus. You just need to find it. Overall, if you have a tricky technical question use the Customer Service phone number supplied in response to registration. Those agents were more capable.

Laptop is ok. Speakers are awful. The room needs to be silent in order to hear at top volume. Speed of processor is good

This laptop is very highly rated but arrived with an issue that appears to be very widely reported- laptop will not wake from sleepmode. Computer can only be turned in and off. In addition, laptop was resting on magazine and would have caused serious fire if not caught on time. It was dangerously hot.
