Received with middle pickup magnet broke in half. I had an old pickup I took the magnet off and replaced the broken one. Also the pickups have no markings as to what position they go to. I looked at pic on Amazon and figured they were in order in the pic. The two 50s go neck and middle w/ red wire and the 52 is bridge. Great strat sounding pickups worth it for the money. Just hope they don't come with broken magnets.

If you are working on any kind of budget, these are a great option. If money is no object, what are you doing shopping for new pick-ups? Just get the guitar you want with the pick-ups you want. For everyone else, these will do. We put them in a Washburn that had fried electronics. Guitar sounds good. Not the warmest pick-ups I have ever tried, but fine in all other aspects. Does a fine job with rock and blues tones.

Renewing a Fender Squire Strat to make it better but didn’t want to invest a whole lot into it. These pickups sound nice, there is vintage feel there. I read some of the reviews and figured I’d try them. The cost was reasonable and with prime I knew I could return them. Before I even installed them I measured the resistance just to be sure the wiring was complete. I wired them in using CTS pots a new selector switch, orange drop cap and a tone bleed circuit. I made sure the inside of the guitar body cutout was lined for shielding and that everything was properly grounded. Once restrung I set the pickup height. After playing a bit I then readjusted the pickups live, just to fine tune. All in all I like the sound and the price certainly was right.

2 of the pick-ups are dead, 1 shows signal, i'll try to use it. the packaging was torn the pick-ups were intertwined and stuck together. I'll just trash the lot, no point sending this garbage back, wiped my arse with 40$ and flushed it buying these. Edit: the 3rd pick-up went dead today. didn't even last 30 days hanging on the wall. less then 10 minutes use and its dead... the problem seems to be at the cap solder, 2 of the pick-up did not even have enough wire from the spool to reach the solder caps and could not be repaired, the 3rd i had to re-solder, but, it only lasted 10 minutes before something in the internal spool went out.

These pickups shocked me immensely for how affordable they are. I put them in a Stagg strat copy that I found at a garage sale for $15 and relic'd and painted it a bit and now I really, really love the guitar. The tone of these continues to surprise me for the price - especially when ran through my pedalboard. I think these are worth the price and then some. I change pickups a lot and ended up liking these a lot so they will in the strat. Great purchase in my opinion.

Just finished my partscaster and used this set of pickups along with some top grade pots and switches. Wow they sound fantastic. From super quaky strat in just bridge, to dirty hendrix like sound on neck. I used standard 5 position wiring and they are dead silent in 2 and 4 as they are supposed to be. Very clean and start sounding in Bridge and quite muddy in the Neck. Compared to my still stock Squier Strat SE they sound significantly better. A few things, One no wiring diagram is included but there are tons on the web, and the only way to tell which PUP is which is by the color codes on the wires. All in all I am very happy with these.

Replaced the OEM Bridge pickup in a used MINI STRAT. Used Middle PU and Neck PU remaining in my Squier Affinity HSS Strat. My HSS Squier guitar I had earlier replaced Bridge PU Humbucker with Dimarzio Classic Humbucker from GC $55.I am an older newbie - but these are affordable and a definite upgrade to the MINI and my factory Squier HSS. More clarity, i.e., "brighter", but I am going by other reviews too. Probably should replace the remaining 2 PUs for the MINI, but I use the Bridge position lever #2 100% of the time. I'd love to get hot coils by licensed WILKINSON, for me they are a viable alternative to $200. other PU's. You get what you pay for - and these are my first upgrade. 3 stars as they are acceptable and I would buy them again - easy to wire with hardware included. No written instructions so you need to use a multi meter ensuring the Bridge goes into its proper location. They were packaged - sent from CHINA came within 3 weeks (foil and padding- strange- looked like low-end packing materials but functional.) Enjoy--
