These are great for small mis en place, or for soy sauce and wasabi for sushi, etc. I use one as a soap dish, too!

I purchased a set of these one Christmas for my daughter and a friend because they are just a perfect size for late night snacking. During a party they brought them over to use on our charcuterie boards. Genius! They are great for holding the sauces and smaller things like blueberries, candies, nuts, etc. I loved them so much I purchased me a set. Dishwasher safe is a bonus for me. A must have for any party!

Our old cat needs frequent feeding. This set of dishes has proved perfect. He finds the shape easy to eat from and there are more than enough to last the day before they go into the dishwasher.

We bought the set to offer dips during the big party and it worked just right. The bowls are heavy and sturdy enough (if only not excessively pushed by zealous salsa lovers), and have a very classy look. Each bowl can handle about 1.5 cups of stuff in it, and I find it the good size for dips. I am looking forward to try serving desserts in them next.Arrive well packed, my set was delivered without any cracks or other disappoitments.Don’t know about durability just yet - I didn’t have a chance to see how they behave when dropped, though the first party and the washing machine tests were passed.

I love cooking and I am always looking for new ways to plate and present appetizers or an amuse bouche. I think the whole spoon thing is a little played out so I went looking on Amazon and found these cute little 3 oz. bowls. I do not like using plastic so many of the options were out because they were plastic or because they were too expensive.I found these sturdy little bowls to be exactly what I was looking for. I have included a couple of pictures to reference but I am not sure you can really tell too much in the photos. I placed a penny in the bottom of one for size reference (I was going to use a quarter but my kids used them all) and the other is in my hand. I use these bowls almost every single day. They are great for portion controlled snacks and desserts. I have used them for panna cotta, chocolate mousse, warm spiced nuts and many other tastings. I most often use them as a part of my mise en place bowls. That way I have all my ingredients on hand and ready to go when I start cooking. Nothing against regular ramekins, but I like these so much better.

First of all, I’d like to call out these people who are giving negative reviews because the bowls were smaller than they expected. It’s not the vendor’s fault you don’t know how to use a tape measure. The dimensions are clearly listed. Grab a ruler or tape measure, measure out 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches and see how big that is. It’s not rocket science.Anyway, these are perfect for what I needed. I needed some little dishes to put sauces in. For example I make a chili queso dip to eat with tortilla chips. My guests can grab some chips and then grab one of these bowls, fill it with queso then put it on their plate. Or, sometimes for parties I will serve cheese and olives etc and these are perfect for me to set out a few with different kinds of olives or cheese.I’d also like to mention that they came extremely well packaged.

Been living with these for a few days now, and I absolutely love the shape. I feel like if the bowls would've been slightly bigger (maybe 18-20 oz) they'd have been more useful in general, but I'd never knock on the product for something like that - it does clearly state they're 16 oz bowls, and that makes them absolutely perfect for noodles and other smaller portions. If you're looking for a main-course-salad bowl I'd suggest going with a bigger size.Other than that, they feel great and relatively sturdy. The porcelain is thin enough that heat will seep through, so they do get hot depending on what kind of food you have in there (soup, mostly). As far as looks go, they do look the part. The shape is very pleasing and interesting, and they definitely seem more upscale than their price-point.That being said, I do have to knock a star off for the craftsmanship/quality of the porcelain itself. A couple of them have some small dark spots/blemishes, and on another couple the porcelain didn't quite form properly, leaving a few indents and undulations across both the inner and outer surface. All in all, I'm still very happy with the purchase, and looking forward to trying different types of food/portion sizes on them. If it wasn't for living in a household (and having no need for multiple dishware), I would very likely order these again - thank you Lifver!
