The lightsabers come with charging cords. The directing for assembling and charging are very vague but it's not hard to figure it out. The sounds effects are pretty cool, my son loved them.

Crappy plastic blade, that comes off with almost every swing. The only decent selling point of this item is that it has a metal handle. This is a waste of money, DO NOT BUY

UPDATE: Seller contacted me and said there should have been screws that secure the sword in place. They sent me a complete replacement. Now the sword works wonderfully. The screws are very tiny and come packaged with the chargers. Would now recommend this product- just be sure to look out for the tiny screws. Seller was very responsive and helpful.The white part of the sword is not attached to the base. It comes out very easily. You can only swing it very very gently without it flying out of the base. This makes this toy not only disappointing but potentially dangerous.

Works as advertised. Slightly shorter than a normal stormtrooper. Blade length is about 6-8 in shorter than the more expensive ones. Only real complaint is when you screw the two together the buttons don’t line up. Overall you get what you pay for and it was a decent buy

I ordered these so that I could duel with my daughter from time to time and they are perfect. Assembly is as easy as removing the plastic on the "blades" and using the three setscrews to attach the blade to the handle. Be sure and loc-tite the screws if you plan on dueling!! The electronics are EASY to use with a series of pulses that just take a minute to understand and the board comes with multiple sound profiles. Smooth swing works well and clash does too, although I will say that if you loc-tite the blade in and have a firm grasp clash may not activate each time as the sensor seems to be toward the hilt and might not receive enough shock for a trigger (is this a big deal- NO). For the cost, these sabers are a great size for in-house dueling and for kids, work great, and look awesome.... this is coming from someone who didn't expect nearly as much for the price.

We got these for our 5 year old because he loves Star Wars and play fighting. The lights and sounds are amazing, they have a great weight, and are the best light sabers we've seen. The handle makes them seem more real. If you're thinking about buying these, they were well worth the money. 6 months in and we've not had a single issue.

We’ve had our fair share of light sabers at home and nothing compares to these. They are sturdy, bright, make noise, can color change, and have a good weight to them. My boys love playing with them. Highly recommend!
