If the product wasn't so good, I would NOT recommend it because of the terrible shipping. I mean like 2 weeks, hows that for PRIME shipping. BUT Let me just say, if you have a rod that's worth protecting then you should have one of these on that rod. PERIOD!!! Why would you not protect your rod anyway?So as far as the Rod Sock, It is VERY well made, protects the tip completely unlike 99% of all the other covers that are sold. And it protects the Eye's to an extent. It covers all eyes on all 36 rods I own.I don't understand some of these reviews at all. First of all, this sleeve is NOT supposed to fit all the way to the reel!!!! It stops between the last eye and the reel some place depending on the rod. You don't want it all the way because if you have a bait (lure of some sort) on the rod you want a place to leave it so it can be covered securely. So the large fits all of my Abu Garcia 7' Veritas Tournament Edition Rods perfectly. SO if you have a 7' spinning rod these fit perfectly. Also I have the Extra large and they fit all of my 7'3 inch rods as well, perfectly. I also bought several for my 6'10 rods and they too fit perfectly. As for the casting rods I bough the large for all of the 7' casting rods and they fit just as perfect as the spinning rod sleeves fit. I found NOTHING negative about this product.... OTHER THAN THE SLOW, SLOOOWWWW shipping. So, order now so you can get them by spring (it's winter now).

I have tried the cheap socks from Bass Pro and the more expensive Original Rod Sock and these are the best yet. Great rod tip protection.

Not long enough lanyard could not reach reel. Not even close. Too tight to go over spinning rod guides. Also sharp edges on plastic coated area.

If you’re like me and like to invest into fishing rods and wanna protect them from nicks and scratches when loading them in the car look no further this is a quality sleeve it will protect your rods the foam tip is a great touch and I might add great customer service line cutterz is my go to and recommended brand for rod protection you can’t go wrong just buy it !!
