Just the right thickness to make a firm mattress more comfortable. Absolutely no odors and no off gassing. There is a distinct “spine” down the middle from being folded but if you turn it wrong side up and cover it with some padding - sleep on it fir one night and it will be flat in the morning. Love it! Totally exceeded expectations!

Bought one and wanted to test it before buying one for another queen bed. Very comfortable and it expands after 24 hours. We’ve had the first one for 3 months and the second for 1 month. Very comfortable and has helped my sons sleep better.

Nice and comfy, it dose slide a little, however straighten it out when you change your linen, I think they all slide a little.

I bought a too-firm mattress, which hurt my back every morning. I researched mattress toppers but needed help determining the thickness and brand. I decided to go with this brand and found that a 3" topper was perfect for my weight and size and would probably work for most people. The brand was also of great quality, and my back pain stopped bothering me in the mornings. It's not a cure, but it's a big help.As a student, I try to avoid doing any homework in bed, as this topper will relax me and help me fall asleep quickly. One of the best purchases I have invested in.

Good soft foam and cover but you bottom out so it's not effective. I took the logical next step and got the 3" foam but it is completely different; too firm and HOT! The Viscosoft 3" works being soft-medium with no bottoming out and sufficient gel so it's not hot. More money but worth it. The Viscosoft weighs 32# vs 15# for most. Foam weight generally implies better quality and product life. It is important to know that the weight of a foam does NOT correlate with firmness.

I had been waking up for months with back and hip pains from my bed. I had been looking for a while for a topper but wanted something cool and memory foam. This one was a winner. It stays cool at night. It is very durable. My back and hip pain are gone. Some people say there wouldn't stay in place or that it had a chemical smell. I have had no problems with it staying in place. When i first opened it i let it air out and expand for a few hours. I never noticed a smell after i did that. I would recommend this product to anyone that wakes up in pain.
