Extremely fast and easy to use. Small and lightweight, only weigh 1.75 grams/piece. WILL NOT SLIP on small diameter line, unlike similar guyline adjusters. Very similar to a Line Loc 3, except our tensioners work with smaller diameter cord with ABSOLUTELY NO SLIPPING.For best results use line with a diameter between 1.2mm and 3.5mm.
NOTE: This package contains guyline tensioners only, no guyline included. If you would like a kit with both guyline & tensioners, please see the LiteOutdoors Guyline & Tensioner Kit.

These tensioners are a huge disappointment. The mechanism that tightens the line is flimsy and flops around everywhere. If you don't get it just right the line pulls right out of them. Hard to imagine trusting them to hold. Feels like they would break very easily.

Great product !!!Lightweight and easy to use.Size is good to use with diameters below 550 paracord (4mm).Durability has been good with my youngest son (now 10) on his tarp.He has easily figured out how to use these.I used them on a couple of backyard/garden tarps, due to Chicago being WINDY, and the guylines needing to be adjusted often. You can use a slippery half hitch (type of hitch, not a knot) or a double slippery half hitch, to ensure that it doesn't come loose from the winds.

I use these line locks in conjunction with 2mm dyneema line to build temporary weather shelters when backpacking. The locks are small and quite secure and helps with not having to deal with messy knots. They weight almost nothing and take up almost no room in your pack.

These really impressed me! They seem to hold extremely well even with tiny 1.18mm microline! I’m using for guying a ham radio antenna mast but these have a million applications. Perfect for ultralight backpacking when paired with some 100lb microcord!

The center divider that the cord wraps around is very loose and there is nothing to hold it in place except a small ridge in the center of the plastic. I bought them for my tent guy lines and I'm worried one will pop out and get lost. Don't know how well they will do in the wind or rain. Guess I'll have to wait and see to find out.

I use these tents and beqch umbrella and now patio umbrella to help it out in wind. 1/8 orange bungee is the max diameter that will fit through the loop end and 5/32 or 4mm us the max that will fit through the trap end and that's what my green bungee is. I use removable deck anchors and it takes literally seconds to install move and adjust them. The trap holds bungee very well locked but you can't really get a lot of slack in the line or it will slip and this cand happen with those really thin guy line cords like the dyneema stuff which is also very slippery. By maxing out the diameter of the cord though you leave no room for the trap to open itself up on slack.

I've tested these with several cord sizes from 1.18 to 2.0mm in Diameter and they hold really well!. Tested holding a tent fly down in 20MPH winds and saw little to no slip. They are simple and effective and the only small diameter cord tensioner I've found that actually works well!
