Your cart is empty.Green Star Polyps are a great starting coral for beginners. They grow fast and are hardy. Frags are roughly 3/4" to 1" in diameter. Star Polyps are a common beauty that is iconic in the hobby. It is hard to find a seasoned aquarist that has not owned green star polyps (or GSP for short) at one point or another in their enjoyment of reef aquariums. They are a hardy soft coral that grows quickly in encrusting mats. They do best in strong flow as their base tends to attract algae growth. Green Star Polyps are not very sensitive to the intensity of lighting provided. You can keep them almost anyway in the tank, most of the time reefer like to glue GSP on overflow box, or back wall, and it will grow over and make gress like wall. Moderate to high water movement is recommended for Green Star Polyps. These polyps require enough water flow to keep detritus from settling on them. Increased water flow also appears to speed up their growth rate. Pachyclavularia relies heavily on the products of their zooxanthellae but also may feed on phytoplankton and similarly sized microfauna in the water column.

Arrived but it was dead! Very disappointed I bought two one with 10 heads it came with 9 heads only two heads survived the trip the other one I purchase is dead nothing on the plug I even waited to see if something would emerge but hasn’t and it slimy

When I received it was brown. I put it in my aquarium anyway hoping it would come around. No luck. I asked for a refund which they gave me quickly. One penny.

Order came well packaged,hence the two stars, However,the coral was nothing like the photo---which is very misleading as to what you will actually get. It was very small and looked moribund. It has not opened up and is probably dead.

Showed up dead. Was wrapped up and package nicely though. Almost as someone picked the worst one and said alright send it out. SMH then I got a bonus with the package too which is a nuisance algae that I’m not putting in my tank. It’s was almost like well since the frag is close to dead. Just throw him a bonus with the algae to make it better. Don’t buy this frag
