My guinea girls are always making a mess. I was hoping the shape of this bowl would discourage or prevent them from flipping their food over, but the bowl is just too lightweight- they toss it like a toy.

I like that the bowls sit solid on the floor. No tipping, no spilling.

Good size and easy to clean but my guineas flip it all the time. I bought a sturdier one that their pellets actually stay inside of.

Sin unos platitos para hamsters, algo pequeños pero utiles

Great value for the price! The bowl can't be tipped over from our hamster and it hasn't attempted to chew it yet (perhaps because of the wider rim, they can't?) Either way, I'm pleased with the purchase!

Pros:-Easy to clean-Durable-Good quality-Hamster has easy access, and loves to sit in his food dish 😂-Lower on one side for easy access-Good for all size hamsters (and some other pets too)-Nice color-Holds needed amount of food and water-Plastic is sturdy, and doesn’t tip overCons:-If your hamster doesn’t like water dishes, then I recommend a bottle for water-Hamsters can get bedding inside dishAll in all, this dish is great quality, and I totally recommend it to all!

I’ve never written a review before but these bowls are the best for so cheap. I got 2 medium sized bowls for my guinea pigs and they cannot tip them. They didn’t feel heavy when i got them so i was a bit scared but they cant tip them and one of my guinea pigs love to nibble on everything and she can’t nibble on this i bought one 17 dollar bowl and this one is sooo much better buy this for your guinea pigs now in a size medium if you have mice or rats get small if you have a bunny then get large.

I bought one of these when I bought my hamster from Pet Smart and paid 3.50 and I should have gotten two, I bought this one for almost double the price I paid there but it did ship free with prime, but couldn't pic color. The bowls fit just perfect in my 20 gallon long, their a little bigger than needed but I like that and they give the cage a whole new look from my old hamsters cage, he passed away and trying fresh clean start. So if you can goto PetSmart do that and you can pick you color too, otherwise do it this way and spend a little more and get whatever they send for color. I wouldn't recommend this size for dwarf or robo, but for long hair and short hair they work fine. I saw in the pet store that a lot of hamsters will destroy and eat these bowls so beware that may happen, if this concerns you buy steel or ceramic.

I bought these to use for a geriatric cockatiel who can no longer perch. The bowls are the perfect size for food/water, and I just ordered several more, both to serve her fresh food and also to have in reserve for my finches, should any of them need to be quarantined. I don't know how well they work for mice, hamsters, etc, but for little birds, they work great! I would also recommend them if you have baby birds who are old enough to wean to soft food, since the bowls are easy to access, but also balanced enough that they don't tip over easily.

Being plastic, it's normal that it is chewed apart over time by any rodents. It's too light to use for anything beside a hamster, also too small for anything larger than a hamster. It's awesome for my short-tailed opossum, since they don't chew things. I got a bunch of these and I can line up different foods for him to pick through. I think the "Medium" bowl should be called a "Small", though. ;) I think this would be good for sugar gliders as well.

The bowl does exactly what I wanted it to do, it keeps the bedding out and doesn't tip over. However, it is much too small: it measures only 3 inches across the bottom, (not 4 as the listing states) and the bowl depression diameter is only 2 inches. In short, the product gets 5 stars, the listing gets 2.
