Loctite Marine Epoxy can be applied and cured underwater and eliminates the need to drain out water before repairs. This unique epoxy is a resilient, two-part adhesive system consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener. When mixed in equal volumes with the convenient dual-syringe applicator, the resin and hardener react to produce a tough, rigid, high strength bond that sets 2 hours and fully cures in 24 hours. Ideal for repairing PVC, copper, brass and galvanized pipes, Loctite Marine Epoxy bonds to metal, concrete, glass, fiberglass, ceramic, wood and certain rigid plastics and cures to a white finish that can be easily sanded or machined. This resilient epoxy does not shrink and is resistant to water, most common solvents, and high impact.

The content of one of the two syringes was a hard paste (the resin if I had to guess which component was the problem), which made it impossible to push it out - even with a hammer it would not flow - and, obviously, to mix. This happened with every single one of the 8 syringes that were in the order. It looks like I received a bad or an expired batch. And the item cannot be returned or replaced on line, per the usual return process. Luckily, Amazon refunded me, which at least took care of the $ part even if I still have to find an effective glue that works for my home project.

This is the only epoxy I will buy for my applications. It's easy to mix and works even though I sometimes can't get equal amounts of each part due to the plunger type dispensing method they use. When fully cured, it is rock solid and can be sanded, planed, machined and drilled without losing its adhesive qualities.

Been using this product and it's predecessor for years. Really hard to beat.

This is a standard Loctite Epoxy; the directions say "may be applied underwater" right before "surfaces should be clean and dry." I applied it underwater after mixing well. If you attempt to smear it on too thickly, threads of epoxy will shear off and fall into the water. Other than that little issue (apply sparingly in small amounts slowly) this product has a great working time, and is easy to apply and smooth. It is BRIGHT reflective white, and exceptionally sticky and difficult to remove, so maybe mask off any areas within touching distance that you don't want to have epoxy on them. It really does get everywhere, magically.

Easy to mix and cures relatively quick. Cures with a faint tan instead of pure white or off white.

Good product and simple to use. If using underwater let it set up a little before applying it. It starts off very loose and will slough off if not allowed to dry a little. Used it on some porthole windows in a vinyl pool with pretty good success.
