Picture makes it seem larger than it actually is so I was surprised at that. I should have paid more attention to the details. It is cute and since it was a gift for a friend who works in finance, it was well received.

I ordered these in green and red, Christmas colors in a glass bowl. They are just beautiful. The clear ones were a bit more disappointing in the 50mm size (see below), but the colored ones are gorgeous. Add an LED light base if displaying in a glass bowl and enjoy.Clear sphere review: I have now ordered these twice, two at a time, in the 50mm transparent cracked glass, and both times the spheres have a muddy appearance about them. I don't know why because 40mm and 60mm sizes are gorgeous. But these 50mm ones are disappointing. I think I will return the second shipment because they also look yellowish next to the other pristine clear bubble and cracked glass spheres. I didn't keep the boxes for the first two or all four would go back. These are the only disappointments, all other spheres, and I have quite a few, are just gorgeous.
