These little booties are sturdy and well crafted. The materials include a suggested regimen to familiarize your dog with wearing something on his/her feet, and I suggest you try it. Our French bulldog really balked at first but now she's getting the hang of it. Just in time for spring!

Good boots. Easy to put on. Sturdy rubber bottom. My dog walks well with the boot on. She has an injury to her back foot so she has to wear one when she goes outside.

THESE ARE FANTASTIC !!!My 17.6 lb Shitzhu had never worn boots. I ordered a size one. This brsbd had both length & width measurements for sizing. Therefore, for us, it was a perfect fit.I placed Dyson, on his back, in the double armed kitchen chair. Then put the boots on. The pleated fold under the velcrow straps made it so easy to put them on. Then the velcrow straps gave a nice snug fit. I assume they are comfortable. As, Dyson only took 2 or 3 funny steps before litterally running around the house. He even made a 6" jump in & out of his play pen gate with accuracy & ease. All boots stayed on.I found it beneficial to coax him from room to room using a bag of his favorite treats.I am extremely relieved to now have much needed protection from burrs, thorns, hot pavement, ice, & snow

Shoes fit fairly well according to measurement directions. The angle of the leg part is nearly straight out instead of angled like the dogs natural foot and leg. This caused a bit of difficulty for the dog to stand correctly but she adjusted since I was only using one shoe to protect a nail injury. The company should modify this design to better accommodate the dogs natural standing position. The workmanship and product material quality is excellent. I am keeping them and will modify them myself.

These little booties were a nice addition to our Cavapoo's winter outfit. He is around 16 pounds and they fit relatively well. There are two velcro straps that hold them in place. These have to be tightened very snugly to avoid having the boots fall off in the snow. When they stay on, they work great - our puppy is usually sensitive to the cold snow, but he was able to play outside much longer with the boots on. The pads at the base are quite thick and grippy, so he doesn't slip on icy roads either. However, they do have a propensity to fall off quite easily, but this may just be because he has skinny feet, or perhaps I measured inaccurately. Either way, I'm happy to have this as an option, but I do need to make sure I follow my pup closely to ensure the boots stay on and to locate any potential lost boots in the snow!

These seem sturdy and are likely pretty durable (unless your dog drags a foot or something). But the sizing is poor, or at least not suited for longer legs. The pictured Golden Retriever? He's not wearing *these* boots. I measured my dogs standing paws (just a 1/16th under 2.5"), ordered 'Size 7: 2.8-3.4"' and they barely get over his paws, plus they are very short up his leg. There's no way they'd stay on and - I didn't ask him but I also didn't make him test them - would have to be uncomfortable with his toes all pressed together in there.I'm not re-ordering because the longest shoes are only 3.5" Long.My dog is a Catahoula-Labradork mix, a lean and leggy 70 lbs. But they're just regular dog legs, not stilts.

Great set of dog shoes for winter. They make a huge difference on the paws if you walk your dog in the areas with ice conditions and salt application. They will protect your furry friend from irritating the paws and will also add stability on the ice. The design is comfortable with velcro straps and easy to operate. The grip is good. I followed the size chart and measured the paws, and they fit just right. Although my dog did not like them at first, he didn't try to take them off either. And each dog is different.
