I put the skeins and bobbins in a "floss-a-way" bag (which has a ziplock and a small punched out hole that holds the ring. This is how I organize my embroidery floss per project (and I always have several projects at once so having multiple hoops is necessary). Very durable and sturdy; I've never had one pop open; they're very good quality for their price!

Needed rings for my looseleef book and yes it was a huge book 3-4in thick. I needed large rings. This product did not fail me it worked perfectly! Definitely sturdy, a little hard to unclamp at first you gotta use a bit of muscle to open the ring. Has 8 rings in package wish it was 9 so I can use 3 for each book.
