I installed this myself having never done one before. I followed instructions online. It was very easy to do. Came with good instructions. Good quality product and The parts were better quality than the originals.

Metal jacket for cable cracked from Crimped after only 1 used and plus the labour of replacing the shift cable removing the leg is no Joke.Buyer beware

Avoid, spend the extra money and go with the oem mercruiser cable. Nothing but problems with this cable.
