These exhaust studs don't need a ton of torque, and if you have the room, this can make hanging the gaskets and headers much easier thand fumbling with head bolts. My allen head wrench fits in these just fine, will tighen again once heat cycled. I'm using stock exhaust manifold gaskets. I still recommend putting some high temp anti seize on the threads even though it's stainless.
