Great diecast hoop. I bought both batter and snare side/reso hoops. Heavy, even, shiny. There are tons of comparisons of diecast vs triple flange so I won’t get into that here. I’ve used many mastercast( the pearl version) and these are just as good

I have these hoops both top and bottom on my 6.5x14 Black Beauty and love it. Not as thick as some of the other diecast hoops on the market, but well made and they aren't nearly as expensive. If you want nice diecast hoops but on a bit of a budget, you can't go wrong.

I replaced my triple flange hoops on my Ludwig Classic Maple with these die cast hoops and they gave the drum more gravitas! Either way is good, but I'm really liking these hoops.

Can’t go wrong with OEM Ludwig parts.Made my snare sound a lot better and made it easier to tune.

I've just changed the original hoops in a good and nice ludwig snare, and the sound has a better quality. Some times happens!
