It really brought the back of the bike together it needed some chrome. The lid feels so much more solid now when opening it up can’t wait for a trip on the road definitely gonna give the saddle bags more room to bring more things home on trips

Arrived as advertised, good packaging. However that’s where it ends. Poor chrome quality, and is supposed to be a direct fit for a Harley replacement. The hole spacing is different than oem Harley-Davidson so would not fit the predrilled holes in my trunk. It would work if you are going to drill your own holes

Don't buy. The rack is ok. Not the best in finish but ok. The problem is not the rack it is the seller. After you pay and receive the rack you will get a letter from an agency to pay duty/tax/GST. It is in US$ and not clear what it is and you are ask to authorize them to do what ever they thinks will be right to do and you wont know how much you have to pay until it is payed buy you. At the time you buy you wont know. It is hidden in the shipping policy statement.

Fits my 2018 Ultra Classic just fine and I was able to use the pre-marked factory holes. That being said I'm only giving it four stars for reasons I'll elaborate on below. The short of it is it works, is the welds look good, but the finish is really where you will see why it's so inexpensive.First off you are going to need a few things besides a drill and 10mm wrench to install. The first is a 6mm x 1.0 tap. The bolt holes, as others have pointed out, need to be chased with the tap before installing the bolts. The other things are a center punch to mark the holes and a couple drill bits. I used 1/8" for the starter holes and then 1/4" for the finished holes. This will provide nice clearance holes for the bolts.As stated before mine matched up fairly well with the factory pre-marked holes. It wasn't a perfect fit but I didn't have to oversize any of the holes to get it to fit. That being said, measure, measure, measure yours before putting holes in your lid. I measured at least five times and was still nervous.Once I had the holes drilled and pre-fitted the rack I took one bolt at a time back out and applied black silicone to each hole and screw from the bottom side. I didn't want any on the paint and this method seemed to work pretty well. Once all four bolts were back in I hand tightened them with a 10mm nut driver until the lock washer was compressed and everything was flush to the surface.In all, installation took about an hour including all the measuring and over-thinking. My reason for knocking off a star is due to the chrome finish. There are several minor imperfections and places the chrome looks thin if that's possible. My concern is over time it will rust in these places if you're not very diligent with waxing and upkeep. All in all though it's not bad considering it's a quarter of the Harley variant. Hope this helps and ride safe out there.
