It actually does what stated. So I can't give a bad review. However to adjust from one size log takes a lot longer than you would think. I just use it to cut logs that can't be split. It holds them while I use a chainsaw.

Makes turning the ends of logs so much easier,,, I have tried a few different ways and finally just bought this,,, Done,, I definitely recommend,,,

Using this over home-grown solutions, or a standard vise, is night and day. Easy to adjust, heavy duty construction, and holds log securely. Highly recommended if doing multiple cuts, and seems will last a lifetime. Well worth the expense in time saved in a project.
