I don’t offer a lot of reviews but these strings deserve 5 star. After several different strings, these are the ones that delivered the amazing results I was looking for. These strings offer a lot of spin and speed while not hurting my forearm as the last few string options have done. I haven’t had the strings long enough to really comment on durability but so far they have held up to the tension and I see no deterioration. I typically go through strings every 2-3 months but these might last much longer.

The person who tried to string my tennis racquet with Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power ICE Blue 16L found the strings defective. His comment: "I was stringing your racket this evening when I noticed a defect. There was about an eight inch flat section (like a lip) protruding from the side of the string. I probably should have stopped stringing but I continued, and as soon as I added tension to that portion of the string it snapped. You deserve to get your money back on this string but I don’t know if that’s possible." Luxilon needs to improve their quality control!

It took a while to find the right combination of strings for my 16 year old power hitter, but we found it when we paired these strings with We have the Luxilon on the main with a tension of 57 and the Babolat on the cross with a tension of 59. He really likes the natural gut of the Babolat and was looking for a string to balance those and help them to last longer. Playing about 15 to 20 hours a week (in the winter), these are lasting around three weeks. He plays with a lot of spin and can go through strings pretty quickly.
