No, it doesn't really. This is the worst shock absorber I've used in over 20 years of playing tennis. The racket still makes the funny vibrating sound when this shock absorber is on. You're better off tying a rubber band on your strings.

These are surprisingly good for a standard button-style dampener. They are pliable enough to be easy to install too, which is a complaint I have about other dampeners. The only drawback is they are a bit overpriced comparatively.

I'm got this one is because recently babalot vibrakill is too expensive these days.I thought luxilon should have something that match their name, however, this is absolutely not the one.I have an RF97 and a clash. This dampener pull the middle string tighter and doesn't have any dampening effect according to my feeling after playing for weeks. I'm thinking about returning it. I would not recommend people waste money on this.

I use these in all 10 of my racquets. They are dense and help protect my wrist, elbow, and shoulder. At 70 years old and at a player level of 4.5 banging at 70-80 mph is difficult without these. Serves still going in at 85-100 mph because of their use as well. Thanks
