These are preassembled birdfeeders. Very pleased with my purchase and I'm sure my 8 and 9 year old grandsons will love them. It came with paints (4 colors) and a brush. What I like is the fact that you will actually see birds feeding - the 4 sides have clear plastic. Although I didn't add any bird seed, it looks very easy to add it. Finally, it can come apart to clean if needed. Well worth the price. Highly recommended AAA+++

My grandkids loved painting these but when we hung them on the feeder they don't hold up. These are good for decoration but not great for an actual feeder.

Roof does not secure, just sits on top. Seeds inside get wet easily and roof tilts off with any wind or bird swinging off it. Also, there is not enough of a lip for the birds to sit comfortably to feed.

Purchase it as a weekend project for the kids. The paint worked well, not flimsy and flim to protect the clear plastic from scratches. Two complete sets so no fighting over who used all the blue. Arrived on time.

Smaller than I expected: each is less than 6x6x8. Probably be nice for outside a window at a nursing center or a senior citizen center. Tiny, maybe a tablespoon in each, cup of red, blue, yellow, white paint included. Glad we have our own paint brushes because the one included is also tiny. We bought exterior house paint separately. (An added expense but it should last longer.) These feeders will be a gift for Grandma.Updated: on one of the feeders you have to supply your own hook. The feeder came with only a cord. Maybe it was designed to rest on a post?? 🤨 Certainly not the best feeder in the yard.

Was looking for a craft for my grandkids to do when I babysat for them. I was looking at birdhouses, but when I saw this set, I thought it was a much better project. They could hang them on the tree right outside their window. I did order outdoor acrylic paints, because they would last longer. They were much sturdier than I thought they would be! The kids had a blast painting them. The weight & the real wood, won me over. Was a win/win for all of us!
