The fact is, I already had exactly what I needed for the particular application I ordered these for. A "professional" said I needed an M10, and was wrong. The fact remains this is a fantastic product that delivers exactly as advertised. It isn't like I wasted my $$$$ because when I actually need a M10, I'll have it. The wrong advice does not reflect on the quality of the product!! Just be wary of the "professionals" you choose to advise you. I recommend this product.

The threads fit well with the bolts I had bought at the hardware store. The hex head fit my wrench securely with no slippage. These are real good to use on slotted holes that are made for allowing adjustments. The flange grips the sides of the slot and keeps it from moving. The material and finish are both good quality. They are well priced and I would order them again.

I see no defects.Serrated Flange nuts are generally used in applications where they are tightened against metal. They can be removed and reused many times. The large bearing surface spreads the force over more area than traditional hex nuts.I recommend these Serrated Hex Flange Nuts.
