This tool saved my butt installing my air lines! If anyone has tried to install pex air lines that come rolled up, its an act in frustration and anger. Takes forever to straighten and never really gets straight enough for a clean install. After my first loop installed I noticed this wavy effect that would drive me bananas.I then found this straightener tool which might be a bit overpriced but 100% does what its supposed to. I don't regret the purchase one bit!

Used to unroll 3/4 roller pex, made it straight in 30 seconds. True lifesaver

It's pricy, but it's a must for straightening Maxline tubing during the installation process.

Arrived broke. One pulls on end that is out past metal broke during shipping. I tried it out and worked anyway so I didn’t return it. Very hard to use by yourself. Definitely a work out to get the pipe straight. The Maxlune pipe comes in a tight coil and you really have to work at it to get it straight. While this tool doesn’t get it straight by itself, it does help. It’s overpriced for what it is but there’s nothing else out there that’ll do what it does.

I bought this product to aid in the installation of a 3/4” Maxline airline kit for my garage. Per the description I thought this would straighten the airline. The problem is that it really doesn’t straighten the pipe especially longer pieces. I tried several different ways ways all with the same results. The pipe was a bit straighter than before but it would turn the pipe into more of an arc than a straight pipe. To compound the issue it is fairly difficult to pull/pull the pipe through the device. I am a fairly strong individual and I had to use a good amount of force to push/pull the pipe through the straightener. My forearms actually hurt for two days after trying to use the tool. As it was so difficult to use I had to clamp it in my vice which severely limited the length of pipe I could try and run through it. So as a result I was not able to use it for a 16’ piece of pipe I wanted to straighten. So to sum it up for me this was a huge disappointment especially given the cost of this tool.

I gave this 5 star tool a 4 star rating because their shipper is slack! They put this tool loose in a large box which equates to almost certain product damage! My tool had a heavy dent in the aluminum backing plate, I radiused the corners to remove the dent, luckily the plastic rollers weren't damaged (other customers had broken rollers as per reviews). I mounted this straightener firmly in my welding table vise. I used a wooden 4X4 as a spool axle for the tubing roll so I didn't need two people to straighten the 3/4 inch tube. This tube is tough to bend, it takes a good bit of effort to pull it through the straightener but far less effort then trying to straighten it manually!
