This is a good grab-n-go starter kit, whether in a shooting range, workshop, or any other scenarios where you'd need eye and ear protection. The safety glasses, although not really anti-fog are quite good. The rubber nose pads and temples make these very comfortable to wear for long periods and the frame is flexible and lightweight. The lenses extend to the outer edge of your eye socket, which means your eyes are better protected from shards coming from below.I don't have much praise for the earmuffs. First of all, they should be good on their own without the foam ear plugs, but that's not the case here. The manufacturer recommends using both in tandem. I don't like sticking anything in my ears thats why I got earmuffs. The earmuffs are also very tight and uncomfortable, painful even. I am currently stretching them out with a helmet and hoping for improvements soon or I'd be better off looking for a new pair. Other brands of similar price point (without glasses) have an NRR of 34 dB without earplugs. And the $20 rent-to-own earmuffs from my local shooting range are much more comfortable. The strongest point is definitely the safety glasses and the earmuffs are the weakest link. If they're still really tight and uncomfortable after a week or two of stretching, I don't think I'm using them again at all.

This is a decent safety protection set. The muffs are comfortable enough. I am able to wear them over a hat which I like. The muffs do well with handguns up to high powered rifles. They adequately protect my ears and fit securely. The safety glasses are basic and not the most comfortable. The set also comes with several pairs of ear plugs in case you want to use plugs instead of muffs. All in all, this is a decent set for ear and eye protection.

This kit includes safety ear muffs, 5 pairs of ear plugs, safety glasses with a case, and lens wipes. The ear muffs are comfortable to wear and stay in place. These are simple ear muffs and I like that the safety glasses and ear plugs are included. These are a great starter set.

This is a great way to get started and have the essentials for shooting. I already had bought Mack's foam in-ear earplugs to use as spares. The foam plugs included in this kit are almost up to the same NRR rating, and they are all very high quality earplugs. Many people overlook eye protection as being an important factor in shooting safety. Some ranges require eye protection (or glasses) so this kit is great.I also appreciate that this kit brings attention to the technique of "doubling up" using foam earplugs in addition to over-ear earmuffs. Hearing damage is cumulative, and you can never get it back. So if you wear only earmuffs and your cheek weld against the buttstock ends up compromising your seal with your ear, you can have unprotected gunshots and potentially cause hearing damage. As others have stated, the earmuffs included in this kit are very basic, very lightweight, and not particularly comfortable. they don't fully go "over" my medium-large sized ears. I would not want to use these for long. But for a grab-and-go kit, perhaps if you are hosting someone who never shoots, or you only need these for a few range trips, this is a great setup.

This is a really great starter set for shooting, the muffs combined with the earplugs give really great protection. Tried them out at an indoor range and had absolutely no issues dampening the sound. The muffs come in a nice blister pack and come with glasses, wipes, and 4 sets of earplugs. The muffs are good, they fold into a really small size but I find that when not using they flip or turn really easily but it’s not an issue when actively using them, this design may cause the muffs to wear out sooner though do to the design. The muffs aren’t the most comfortable ones I have tried and don’t extend as much as I would like, I don’t have a large head and I max out the size of them, so don’t think these would be good for someone with a large noggin. I do like the look of these, but they are tight and not the most comfy, but provide great protection. The included safety glasses are excellent, nice design, protective, ANSI rated, and comfortable and clear. The earplugs are generic memory foam plugs but work great and a nice inclusion, I definitely recommend wearing both for protection. Overall this is a great set for a good price, I would recommend this set.

Some context: I personally use electronic muffs but originally started with non-electronic muffs. I have ALWAYS double upped on muffs (even the electronic ones) and ear plugs. I mostly only use indoor ranges with drastically louder noise than oudoors. These are the PERFECT set for a starter or to keep on-hand for guests or extra people that might not have their own hearing protection. I've tried these a couple times and they work perfectly. They offer the exact same noise reduction I get from my gel-cup walker razer electronic muffs.I've actually used the ear plugs themselves many times in the past because I wear ear plugs every night to sleep. The Mack's ear plugs are a widely recognized name brand that offers high quality ear plugs that do their job splendidly. Finally, these also come with a fantastic pair of safety glasses that fit well, feel nice, and don't hurt over time.Overall, this is a solid 5/5 set for the price of only $35. Comes with everything needed to get yourself or a guest started at a great price! Highly recommend if you're looking for a starter set or an extra set!
