I don't even know where to begin, honestly. I was looking for a good (and bright) taillight for my new e-bike. This one checks off all the check boxes and more. This taillight offers a smart radar, that ties into any ANT+ enabled system for a wider viewing angle... Its installation is straight-forward and easy to mount under the bike seat. This thing really has all the functionality that anyone could ever need, and more. It's winter here, so I've yet to get out on the road and test the battery life. But, the charging speed seemed quick and robust. This taillight truly has everything rolled into one nice, tight little package. I'm impressed...

I was impressed by MagicShine SEEMEE R300 Smart Radar Taillight when I opened the box. The packaging is impressive and the light looks really well made and high-end. I have not yet tried it during a ride, but installed and connected it to my Garmin through ANT+ and it seems to connect well. The red light is very powerful, and there are multiple setting options. It is raining where I live right now, but I can't wait to try these as soon as rain stops.

The MagicShine SEEMEE R300 Smart Radar Taillight is a pretty cool multifunctional device that combines a high-intensity taillight with something I’ve not seen on a bike light before, radar technology to pre warn riders of vehicles approaching from behind enhancing cyclist safety. It reportedly detects approaching vehicles up to 140 meters away, providing visual and audible alerts when paired with a compatible cycle computer. The lighting element of this product is first class. It’s very bright helped by the focussed centre LED complimented by side COB LEDs, it says that it delivers a maximum output of 300 lumens, I can’t verify that, but it’s bright!! This is complimented by a 270-degree wide viewing angle, reportedly providing visibility up to 2400meters (this will obviously be in optimal conditions, but its still amazingly bright). It also includes multiple modes, including steady and flash options to cater to various riding conditions. There's even a function called ‘PelotonSync’ that will try to harmonizes flash patterns among nearby compatible taillights, which is great for enhancing group visibility. The radar element is next level, it basically monitors rear traffic, alerting you to vehicles approaching from behind, even around bends, with a 35-degree detection angle!! BUT it does need a compatible cycle computer, I’d hoped it would work with a phone app, but I’ve not found one yet. It’s not perfect, and it does sometimes activate if you pass a car too close, but its still a great little safety device.Operation is made simple by the large, uncluttered dual-button controls, this allows independent operation of the taillight and radar functions to save battery when you don’t need it. However, the 3,350mAh battery offers up to 100 hours of operation in eco flash mode and recharges in approximately 2.15 hours via USB-C so if you need to run both, it will still last 8hrs!!The taillight is easy to fit, it uses a miniaturised Garmin quarter-turn mount for easy attachment and removal. There is a bit of flex and this does add a bit of wobble during rides, but it doesn’t affect the overall effectiveness. It’s also worth noting that you need to ensure that the radar surface is positioned above the rear wheel is crucial for optimal performance. Conclusion:Overall this MagicShine SEEMEE R300 Smart Radar Taillight offers a fantastic blend of high-visibility lighting and proactive radar detection, aiming to enhance cyclist safety. Its integration with popular bike computers and customisable features will make it a great choice for riders seeking advanced rear-traffic awareness. However, it’s not fool proof, and the odd false positive will happen, also, this is not a replacement for using your own awareness, its more of a complimentary addition to your cycling safety.Priced at £129.99 it’s a big investment, perhaps too much for commuters where traffic is slow, drivers expect to see bikes and you will be inundated with notifications but if you’re an avid rider and use a variation of routes, this may be the perfect thing to add to your Christmas list!

I have a Bryton Rider 750E bike computer, and I was seriously hoping this would play well with it. Luckily, it does! After turning on the taillight and my Bryton computer, all I had to do was go into "Sensors", hit "+" (add sensor), pick "Radar", and there it was. One click after that, and everything was connected. Yay!It got past the first hurdle, working with my bike computer. But what about the mount? Well, that's another story (and the reason for my -1 star review). It includes 2 mounts, but both mounts are for bike seat posts...1 for a "normal" seat post, and 1 for an "Aero" seat post. While I'm sure there is a certain percentage of folks out there that use aero seat posts, I rather think they're in the minority. For my own application, I'm using this on my long-range cargo e-bike (Tesway X7-Pro), and with the cargo rack and everything on the back of the bike, a seat post mount simply won't work for me. Thus, I have "Added to cart" the "MJ-6556 saddle mount" (Amazon # B0DLSWT4Y7, cost $13), because with my setup, I'll be drilling a few holes in the back of my bike to mount the MJ-6556 to, and to that, this taillight.Magicshine would do well to include the MJ-6556 as part of the bike light, given the price of the light and the miniscule price of the MJ-6556 mount. I'd rather pay an extra $5 or $10 for the light, and have all the mounts included, rather than having to order something else after I get this. So, the mount is on order, should be here in a few days, and then I'll have this on my bike.Other than that, I love everything about this light. It's about as bright as can be, and the battery life, even on higher modes, is excellent, even compared to some of Magicshine's other taillights. This is their flagship taillight (except for the one that has a camera), and it's built like a tank. The fit and finish is just outstanding, as is everything else about it.It may be a bit on the pricey side as far as taillights go, but how much is that safety really worth to you? It's worth quite a bit to me, and the outstanding features this ANT+ Radar taillight brings to the table seems worth the cost, especially given how well it works and how well it's made.If I was judging this on the light alone, this light is 5 stars all the way. The fact that I have to purchase the additional mount for $13 for my application is the only thing that knocked this down to 4. If your setup has no issues with the included seat post mounts, then you can consider this a 5-star product for all intents and purposes. At the end of the day, I still highly recommend this taillight, even if you DO have to buy an additional mount for it. It's worth the money.

This is a very good light with radar to help keep you safe on two wheels. It is quite a large beast weighing a little over 100g but the three lights in it's various modes offer great visibility to other road users. It fits nice and easily to my round seat post and can twist on and off easily enough too. It paired with my Garmin 1040 Edge quickly and gives both audible (beeps) and visual (red bars) notifications of approaching vehicles. This is a great thing to have and has given my confidence an extra boost when road cycling as even with a mirror, it can be possible to miss traffic coming behind due to wind noise but this has not failed me yet. Battery life has proven to be superb with no issues on 5-6 hour rides but you can turn the radar off also if you are off road to save battery. This is a great product for the keen cyclist and a fair bit cheaper than it's main competitor.

Absolutely love using this light for my e-bike thanks to the light style and radar it has built into it. This allows me to spend more time with my eyes on the road rather than having to worry too much about what’s behind me.The bike light is water resistant so I don’t have to worry about it getting wet when the weather is bad.Visibility of the rider when using this is really good, I had my friend put the light on his bike while I was keeping an eye on it. I could clearly see the light a long way in the distance as it’s quite a large light up area which is adequately bright. The radar function provides you with some peace of mind that there’s nothing approaching from behind with an audible alert when something comes into range of it. Don’t let this become a replacement for common sense, though. It’s always better to check behind you, especially when you’re approaching a junction you intend to turn into. The battery life is great, giving me plenty of hours usage on a single charge & able to be plugged into my e-bikes USB port to recharge when it’s empty.I ride pretty much everywhere I go so having a suitable set of bike lights is extremely important for me, I’ve tried a lot of different ones with some being unreliable at best and others being flawless. This one is by far the best I’ve tried, even better than my smart lights which have now been replaced in favour of this.

Man this light is super bright, there's no way a car can claim they didn't see this one up ahead! It senses approaching vehicles and starts flashing brighter and quickly to really catch your attention. Excellent product and would definitely recommend.

Beginning with the presentation, from the flat black box with a magnetic flap, to the metallic body, nice switches, and the overall appearance, this light feels like a quality product. This is a relatively small, lightweight yet high visibility light, with several light modes to choose from. The mounting system is not desirable, since it uses a rubber or silicone belt that will not last very long when exposed to the elements. It does have a quick-release system from the mounting assembly, but the mounting bracket is placed at the top instead of the middle, and that makes the light rattle against the seat post on bumpy roads. I haven't been able to test the radar function without connecting it to a specialized bike computer. This light worked for about 5 Hrs. on the highest setting, before switching itself to a lower power flashing mode. At $130 this light is OVERPRICED!

This is a solid rear light for my bike! it is built solid and feels high quality in my hand. The only downside is the weight. This does have some weight to it and i feel that it negates all the weight savings i've done to the bike. so weight is the only downside i found with this product. The rest is awesome. The lights are bright and i mean they could hurt your eyes if you stare at them. I feel much safer that i am more visible on the road, plus the radar sensors worked flawlessly. Helps keep me aware of my surrounding more. I do not have a fancy bike computer yet that this could connect to, but something i look forward to use when i upgrade. battery life has been excellent. Done a few long weekend rides and i have not had a need to recharge yet. It does have a function to turn itself off or go to sleep. All in all, im happy with this product. Yes, the price is high but i find this is justified by the build quality, performance and safety. Get one!

Took this radar taillight on my night ride, and I’m really impressed. It’s super bright and definitely makes me feel safer on the road. Had a few cars approach from behind, and the radar was spot on, giving me a heads-up. It’s been great for my evening rides, and I don’t have to worry about the rain thanks to the waterproof design.
