I installed this mount in the glove box of my golf cart for security patrols. Holds weapon securely even over rough terrain. I have been very please with pistol retention and easy draw.

Hang it and forget it. This is great buy. Holds my home defense gun and feels extremely solid. The magnet has a strong force which keeps it secure and in place. Will buy more for more guns in my house.

Installed in the jeep, very easy access, holds tight without flopping around, hard durable plastic, I didn't use the double sided tape it came with just the screws

First of all I love this. The magnet works great, and holds it tight. I have no fear of this falling out at all. I have this installed in my car, under the dash for easy access if ever needed. Would buy again

If you are wanting this as a near permanent storage solution for your pistol, then this is the buy of the century. I bought this with the intent to install in my vehicle. The magnet is so powerful that it is not realistic for personal defense. I wanted to test before installing and I'm glad I did. In order to release the weapon I must pull down forcefully and try to slide it out. The magnet keeps the barrel so tightly engaged that the front sight drags and gouges the plastic.
